  1. haha thread revival, awesome!
  2. haha yeah id go for an R32 club, AKA The Cool People Club (also anticipating mad082 to shit in this thread)
  3. there's too many hyper inflated egos when it comes to skylines though, the only owner i've complimented had a R35 lol
  4. It was a bit different when all you could get was a defect for being over power/weight (or no restrictions like those of us in NSW) and no points. I don't believe in police spying on us though (unless they are off duty and enthusiasts)
  5. are GT-R blow off valves always located in that spot?! Spring looks a tad rusty. You could always just do away with it and have sick doses
  6. take mobo / ram out n sell those on ebay, maybe processor too, n yeah bin the rest, could try selling the power adaptor / bag etc.
  7. do you have any pics? I'm interested to see what they look like on the R32
  8. got some good results last week with using Megs Gel wash with a Eagle one pad, Autoglym Deep Shine Polish applied with microfibre pads, and then a wax with Megs Carnuba Wax and foam pads (red bottle). Seemed to get rid of the rain spots but swirled the paint a bit in places. Definitely need a clay bar though!
  9. yeah there's a lot of money floating around robinvale lol, but yes I'm surprised at how many locals get away with driving obviously V8 / turbo powered cars when the cops are keen to come down like a ton of bricks on just about everything else.
  10. yeah my HR31 owning mates had them on their Passage and GTS-X respectively, the problem with em is that you can't really fit a front mount cooler around them at all, and yeah the motors are fairly heavy. They look cool though It pisses me off that the model earlier has stuff like rain sensing wipers, auto headlights and auto spoiler, but my R32 has none . From what I've read they were an option across the R32 range, though I've never actually see one. Dunno about R33, but maybe so.
  11. haha some of the p platers of italian descent around here manage to get around in clubsports and senators without getting dicked, maybe its more of a melbourne thing
  12. well you wouldn't buy your mrs cheap jewellry would you? Given the prices of second hand JDM wheels at parts places etc, I honestly don't see the point in buying new el cheapo rims that are guaranteed to be fitted on 426246226 worse looking cars.
  13. so with the 3076R would you have to specify that you wanted the version with the port shrouding or do they all come like that now?
  14. both my HR31 owning mates run http://www.xtremeclutch.com.au/page.asp?pa...mp;productid=14 these clutches, nice light pedal feel, quite aggressive takeup though so not really for the faint hearted!

    Hey

PROTIP: Elwyn you're not making the best impression old mate, should re read your posts lol
  16. birds you just like to take the opposing view for the hell of it!
  17. thought i'd bump this in case there are some people around here who i don't know with Skylines lol. I've never seen any of the abovementioned cars apart from the teaznmobile (which has a different owner these days). The guy with the R33 GT-R is alright, nice example of one, also good to get parts from.
  18. gts-4 with rb25DET.. 11500 is a fair price IMO
  19. how do you launch in drag mode effectively with a controller though?! it either seems to bog down if revved too low, or just wheelspins lol
  20. haha it seems obvious to me, so they can say they 'beat' a skyline, like any skyline is some mythical race car. I wouldnt be giving in to temptation if I had an N/A, it could lead to shame and smartarse comments from bogans lol
  21. cause nissan OZ are stooges lol, like how they dont support anything imported even now argh OP generally everyone is telling you to lurk moar

    Hey

    *facepalms*
  23. haha well the sedans are bad enough!
  24. haha so does that apply for non BOV equipped Cefiros? blocking off your BOV won't wreck your turbo but may give your ECU a headache with inaccurate airflow readings
  25. IMO I don't see the point in buying adjustable coilovers unless you're intending to fiddle around with your suspension set up, I'd go bilstein shocks + decent springs personally.
