  1. well you can already get NOS seat covers, octane booster and clublocks so im guessing it will be soon haha
  2. thats why I told you that you should quit while you're ahead marc HAHA
  3. lol I had a guy at the tyre shop nearly do that @_@ though it can be hard to find a decent place to jack in the absence of specific jacking points (I usually either do where the seams of the chassis rails overlap at the front or at the diff) Have seen that kinda damage done and its repairable.
  4. Rb30s are stronger than local motors - 500 000km on an unopened RB30S FTW
  5. haha there are suckers (mostly american too it seems) born every minute
  6. haha don't think anywhere near st arnaud is gonna be doing nitrous refills expensive to use and farrrrrrrrken illegal if you get caught out with it btw
  7. at least with consoles the games are optimised to the system rather than having to do it the other way around. On the other hand, computers aren't as bad as they used to be, my (almost) 3 year old desktop with 2gb RAM and the only upgrade being an 8600GT video card runs most newish games fine, albeit without all the bells and whistles turned on
  8. just FYI fuel consumption above 15L/100km is shithouse. Funny how everyone I know with rotary powered cars never seems to have them on the road for more than a month or two at a time, and are getting fuel consumption skywards of 15L/100km. (AFAIK the R32 GT-R is quoted at around 16L/100, and GTS-T at 10L) Thats why I mentioned reliability, and fuel consumption, from my own experiences. The OP asked why they suck (and if they were any good they would be in mainstream use), and apart form epic thread diversions and invasions from RX-7 owners, is being told opinions why.
  9. I'd be willing to bet that none of those charming japanese hentai games (which always seem to be centered on virtual rape lol) would have ever graced the OFLC's eyes
  10. just thought id add that I did see MissR34's car at the local car show loool, all the decent skylines were in hiding, cara hope you didnt go n have to listen to leigh and simone talk shit about their driving capabilities! didnt bother going to the strip, twas only a ladies day haha
  11. mine has the RB25 on the rego sticker, but I'd have to check his, I'm pretty sure that they wrote down the new number but prefixed it with rb20 not rb25 or something like that lol
  12. lol interesting reading apart from the tl;dr posts about physics etc. Most of the rotor forum invaders have done nothing to help their cause, they are nearly as bad as the muzza's from Calais Turbo lol. IMO rotaries suck pure and simply because they are impractical as a street car or a daily in any form. That and the insane fuel consumption.
  13. the MAJOR thing though is going to be the lack of any local steam servers running the game. What a fkn crock.
  14. True story here: Best mate got a NEO, 5 stud S13 conversion, R33 brakes fitted to his HR31 GTS-X and went into Vicroads after getting RWC for it (had registered it in his name for the first time), and the woman who looked just put down the new engine number and nothing was said? Does this mean he's potentially going to f**k himself over if an overzealous cop decides to really go over his ride? BTW mine which is registered in NSW is registered with the RB25 engine number on it, and I haven't got a Engineers Cert :S
  15. they still make women but not hawt R32 Skylines so its a pretty no brainer there
  16. You have to use one in conjunction with the Fuel Catalyst, the fuel treatment pills that you put in your fuel tank, a Hyclone in the intake, coupled to an electric supercharger and have an Energy Polariser fitted in the engine bay for it to have any positive effect
  17. lol i think its the location of the bolts, but might have another look this weekend if I get the chance
  18. marc quit while you're ahead mate, you don't have to be right in EVERY single thread ;p
  19. anyone have any ideas on how to safely get out these stuck bloody bolts!?
  20. sounds like a pretty handy diagnostic tool then!
  21. LOL im-32-fk pls an hero now. and the original GT-R was N/A which was what Scathing was probably referring to
  22. isn't there a company on the net based here in Australia that do those oil tests?
  23. why a NEO vs a standard RB25 when you're going to mod it anyway? I admit the NEO has much better fuel economy in stock form, but they seem to be more tempermental than the normal RB25, especially when it comes to strange things like spark plugs :S
  24. lolz eff me dead. Wasn't a fan of L4D, mainly the inability to work out easily how to play it, the confusing server listing and having to spend ages tweaking to make it run smoothly. I only played it twice then went back to tf2 lol
  25. If it wasn't a jap dev than it probably would! I'm hanging out to play this one - I've avoided NFS since Carbon. IMO the best one I've played was High Stakes, I went to all the trouble of installing NFS:SE on win XP the other day then played it for about 10 minutes before being bored.
