say 6 tabs, using a total of 640mb of ram, which seems kinda strange, since I've got 2 gig on this computer and 1 gig on my laptop, but the same problem seems to affect both similarly and randomly.

well I've tried disabling all the unneccessary Browser Helper Objects, but at times I still seem to get slowness or timeouts from multiple tabs of IE, and often it dosen't feel like a 1.5 connection, more like a 256k one! It's strange though because downloads and games are top notch, its just IE / Firefox! has anyone encountered a similar problem?

well for mine: gates racing timing belt : $80 or so RB30 water pump (will plug hole up to suit RB25) $80 odd then getting the bearings pressed out of a spare idler and tensioner and asking the guy at the local NSK dealer what he can get that is the same thing (can't get the exact same part number), not sure about the cost but shouldn't be *too* much. (btw you need to have access to a press to press bearings in n out) and doing the labour myself with a mate.

I ran mine out of fuel once, thinking that the fuel light got me the same milage (50km) as the VN lol. If you ever run out, don't bother only putting in 5L, as it won't start, and will lead to compounded frustration I did the fuel filter when I bought mine, I wouldn't anxiously be doing it again in a hurry ha ha ha. Otherwise when it starts to go under a quarter I generally try to put fuel in it (usually have to drive 35km to a decent servo as the ones here only sell ethanol crap 95 :S)

I ended up getting a set of KTS Alloy Cradle Lock Collars since the guy I was dealing with on Ebay stuffed me around, one other thing, do superpro or whiteline etc sell complete rear end bush kits for Skylines? I've seen them for Falcondores, but not for imports otherwise I'm going to have to find the list and order it all piecemeal.

yeah mine does it too, and occasionally third now isn't it something to do with 1st - 3rd having twin synchros and being less susceptible or something? I know that RB20 boxes always seem to start grinding in second...

yeah you apparently need an ANDRA / CAMS licence or something like that to buy leaded race fuel. Same goes for Avgas.

you can buy proper 5 stud adaptor type things or kits using Silvia or R32(i think) hubs from Japanese Import Spares in Adelaide, they also stock random rims (they had a set of Ray's Gram Lights in +35 and 4 stud at one point) I'd be going for a nice set of Enkei's or something myself if I had an inferior model haha

i'd go heat range 6 not 7, they were too cold and looking at them when I pulled em out yesterday they hadn't even heated up enough to self clean (my plugs foul to the shithouse anyway, but there wasn't even a clean spot right on the electrode with the 7's).

lol yeah thats right, its good fun though, I reckon it would have better 0-50 acceleration than my turbo Skyline quite easily too. I know this because when I had a V8, I'd always get chomped by Datsuns, which would always back off at 60 lol. lol sh*****t thread, and I'd DEFINITELY go the Datto over a N/A Skyline. If his has 80rwkw and 900kg that's pretty good power to weight ratio. To put this in perspective, the gf's 1200 with 35rwkw will go tearing past 5 litre V8s at the green light grand prix up to say 50km/h or 3rd gear

Well as it turns out, I got the car looked over when I got new tyres, and it turns out that all the rear bushes are stuffed as well as some of the steering components So the rear subframe will be removed anyway lol. Do any of you suspension guru's know where the best prices on bushes are? I was thinking whiteline or something like that. Kind of annoying since I'd just gotten all the stuff to do the 100k service and now find out that half the suspension is stuffed too!

Yeah must be the same as teh R32 GTS-4 which has the same shock / spring set up as the GT-R. You can also use Z32 inserts (at least in the rear)

Internode do have a good selection of their own game servers, and its unmetered usage for their customers (AFAIK). I usually use Internode servers for Steam and most games like TF2, CS:S etc because of the good pings.

TF2 FTW. It's more conducive to a fun game rather than the uberleet players pwning everyone constantly lol.

I've not seen a newer chipset Xbox 360 die yet, and FYI, I play my games on both 360 and PC, everyone I know with a PS3 has it sitting there covered in dust waiting for GT5 to come out, since most games are either look better on 360, not to mention the amount of exclusives and the superiority of Xbox Live as a multiplayer service. The pros really outweigh the cons of the 3RROD etc, xbox 360 games are generally 1080p compatible vs all the PS3 games I've played, not to mention the ancient controller design, the fact that you have to download hundreds of mb of crap to just play the games! I'd never buy a Wii, I'd get my girlfriend to lol.
