Funnily enough I just did a RROD fix on mine (well not quite RROD but video and no audio), the controller was bought brand new on Ebay so don't know if Micro$loth warranty will cover me there. I have tried putting on / taking off HDD once though, might try it again later.

syncing is only for wireless, and yeah i've tried turning the xbox on with it - funny thing is that it works perfect sometimes for say a minute, and then starts blinking all 4 lights, or I turn the xbox off and it then turns the xbox back on at random by itself.

Yeah I just started playing again after like 2 years - I've found that CS:S is a bit easier in GunGame, and that most of the really good players seem to be on the 1.6 servers still.

+1 for welding a lip on the end of the pipe, mine is missing the bracket to hold the crossover pipe to the motor which I think may have had something to do with mine sliding off, does yours have it on? I also used Fleetguard clamps and tightened the hell out of them, which i'm pretty sure you shouldn't have to do, I'd be trying hairspray as well next time lol.

Command and Conquer 3 - like EA had read my mind about what sucked balls in the last couple of CnC games and made it exciting fun again, like the first playthrough of Red Alert. First 3D RTS I've really enjoyed and played for hours. Counterstrike 1.6 (Gungame), even now it's still a blast to play on the net, until some bastard knifes you!#%%$%

well HDTV isn't *that* compelling, and the Blu Ray movies they have looping on a Sony TV at Video Ezy just don't do it for me in terms of an increase in picture quality. It's like going from a component output on your xbox to a HDMI one.

I stressed the WIRED part of that lol, so no batteries, have also tried it in all 3 USB ports.

haha oh well they had the Scheel interior and had the right colour paint which was enough to convince me and yeah they do get stolen a lot now that people know exactly how much they are worth Still can't believe that the guy down the street parks his mint XU-1 on the road lol. If I can convince the owners to have a look if and when I see them around I'll see if I can have a look at the build plates (though I believe that even some of these were stolen from HDT as blanks and dodged up at one stage? Especially on the VK Group A's) Was your son's one of the plus packs with the energy polariser our of curiousity?
