haha well with an RB25, hollow cat and no mufflers I got an average of 110db and a max of 128, but you get used to the noise and its only at random times like when you're driving down an alley or being emissions tested you realise 'oh dear thats loud as fark', fyi I'm going to go stealthy exhaust route now (at least most of the time lol)

Oh I always thought you'd have to be an insane idiot to actually run bare pipe without even the pretense of a cat shell lol. BTW the EPA tester the other night could tell my cat was empty from listening to it, they do give things a bit more of a barkm not to mention a hard to describe sound of the turbo spooling.

Depending on the year it will either have an RB20 NICS or a ECCS 'redtop' motor if it's a later model one, I daresay its either HICAS or for the adjustable shocks - there should be a switch with 3 settings near the centre console and coin holder. AFAIK all of the GTS, GTS-X and Passages came with the adjustable suspension and HICAS.

Played it on a mates Sony Bravia LCD 42in, if the prologue is actually 1080p then thats what it would have been running in, the crowds etc also looked really wooden especially, and there seemed to be a noticeable degredation in the graphics in split screen; the only thing I like about the GT games over Forza is the amount of JDM cars.

I had the actuator rod slip off the bolt it goes onto once, and had no boost obviously, ended up just tapping it back on and putting a circlip over the top which fixed it, have a look there, will only take you a second to eliminate that at least.

Yeah I much prefer the look of a street driven car, even mine which has survived multiple smashes into animals of varying sizes, with a front bar which is held together with duct tape and love, stone chips on the front, and an engine bay full of dust PS I bought mine off a Lebo, have for the most part regretted it due to the fact it's taken me over a year to fix *most* of the annoying half done mods or crappy slaptogether jobs inflicted on it. Try buying a stock one if you're new to Skylines or aren't a huge DIY fan, the peace of mind is worth the extra money spent on modding it yourself. That R33 looks like another CT special (swops 4 VN SS +2k bro?!!?!), utterly gayed up by an idiot.

I'm kind of curious about how I would clean my APEXi Power intake (given that I live in a dusty place and it cost me $160), in the test that one of the 4cyl mags did, a cheapo brand called 3A Racing came out on top in terms of the trade off between filtration and flow. I'd try and use a dry filter, it's a pain in the ass to be cleaning and then trying to oil a K&N filter enough to actually work but not enough to kill the AFM.

lol bugger me, everyone I know including myself has just cut out a piece of a beer can and used that to block off the stock BOV! works fine 6 months down the track. Also used a bit of liquid gasket to seal it down nicely.

Mine is a Series 1 and yes the clock is in the gauge.

topher you're quite the Sony fanboy. Anyone who seriously thinks that they can compare graphics of modern day games via Youtube videos (especially pre release promotional footage that is likely pre rendered), is daft! GT-5 Prologue got quite boring really fast, it didn't feel like there was anything 'new' about the driving experience, and the graphics didnt make me go WOW, well apart from the title screen, but unfortunately the game didnt look anywhere near as good.
