  1. I was thinking more in gaining rankings and acheivements, which meant you had to use all of the guns. I've not played it online for several months, but I liked that you couldn't really get a gun that was both accurate and deadly.
  2. up to 300km a tank with the Microtech, hoping for some drastic economy increases when I get rid of it though
  3. haha he raps like a robot. i'm trying to convince myself that this is some awesome troll thing happening here
  4. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ho...en-t275583.html free advertising hahah
  5. basically if you're on p's then it's the non turbo, if not turbo. IMO there is no real point buying a non turbo import Skyline, they are slow, are missing many of the things which make the turbo models attractive and you'd probably end up wishing you'd bought a turbo one anyway. Bear in mind that R34's are still holding their value well and you'd be flat out finding a good one under $20k, vs R33 which are a dime a dozen and people are practically giving away.
  6. i've got some pics of my old shitter in my 'garage' thing, should take some more though Pity melb is so far away, or I'd be all up for the club events etc
  7. Cars like those two make me wish cars could get aids.
  8. Yeah chicks do notice 4 stud wheels, thats why R31's are such chick deterrents hahaha.
  9. Pretty much. Before I got my Skyline I did a shitload of research, spoke to import owners, lurked on here for several months etc.
  10. I recall you getting rolled in one thread due to the fact that you didn't even own a Skyline eeiko_321, about the time when you were trying to infer that every other poster in the thread was a middle eastern of ill repute.
  11. Do you have a part number for the HX35 you used CEf11E and do you think that one would go alright on a RB25?
  12. $400 is VERY reasonable to send from Syd to Adelaide - I bought both my cars and drove home 2/3 of that trip to where I live and I would have spent near on $400 in fuel and incidental expenses. Big thing to look out for for those of us in NSW - if you buy you car in SA or Vic where you don't need to get a RWC every year, it can often work out really expensive to get a heap of stuff fixed up or changed over for NSW RWC.
  13. do a search of your skyline models first pls
  14. that must be an absolute bastard to drive anywhere other than flat roads lol, I thought mine was low with the exh 10cm off the ground!
  15. my cat got filled up with shit (thinking due to a rich running motor not allowing it to work properly), then kinda melted back towards the back half of the shell, hence me having to bash it out. Dunno if it was a highflow or what, but I'm sceptical about buying another one cause I don't want to be replacing them on a regular basis!
  16. OP: the answer is simple, your driving sucks, go buy a VW Beetle.
  17. Much easier in a R32 though - you've already got 5stud and turbo brakes + ATTESSA already in there, all you needa do is change the loom + wiring, could probably get away with original Gbox too. There's still a lot of minor differences, like the bonnet, suspension mounting, diff, driveshaft (I think), and a whole bunch of the suspension components. You also don't have the pumped guards.
  18. I was playing Area 51 last night on Xbox and noticed that the mutant type creatures look very similar in every other game since then (IE Resistance etc)
  19. I took E3 as the watershed moment to realise that Duke Nukem was in fact dead
  20. For me COD5 multi was much more rewarding due to the period weaponry, and heavy use of infantry rifles which required aiming skill rather than spray and pray. COD4 has a quicker pace though. I just wish gaming developers would realise there were other wars apart from WW2 and modern conflicts, got me beat why there's never been any COD game set in Korea or Vietnam, or even the Falklands!
  21. Hmm well ATM its The Suffering (xbox) Half Life 2 (xbox) Operation Flashpoint (PC) hanging out for the rest of my 360 bits to arrive so I can finally play COD4 on the net at home!
  22. Yeah theres a shitload of different little parts involved, I imagine you could strip the entire donor car, but then it kinda defeats the purpose of doing so unless you had some uber awesome body / interior to put it into lol. You'd be best off with a RWD RB26
  23. Well I dunno about whether the GT-R box would physically fit into the GTS-T's trans tunnel for example? It sounds like another one of those things that isn't really worth the time or effort. I imagine you'd have to change all the suspension around too due to it now becoming front heavy...
  24. Interesting thread - there's a Pedders here, and that would be the only local suspension shop left (Used to have a guy who specialised in wheel alignments and putting in suspensions, not sales, but unfortuantely he left to go up to the mines). I'm tossing up whether to take my car there or to my local mechanic for a wheel alignment and a general look over of all the suspension components, as I've been VERY disappointed with the job done at local tyre places on my previous car.
