  1. a very rough calculation of my daily protein intake is 15g from tuna 81g from chicken breast 30-80 depending on what I eat for dinner 24g from whey powder plus a small amount from my morning oats with a splash of milk. Assuming I'm eating a decent amount of meat for dinner, that brings me to around 200g, which is my 1g /lb of lean body mass. I was eating cottage cheese / greek yogurt for dessert for a while, but I've been trying to keep my calories down. On an unrelated note, managed to get bench, OHP, deadlift and squats in today, was quite pleased!
  2. You mean you like the placebo effect of organic Trozzle: I eat all of the above usually once a day apart from the eggs. Can of tuna for morning smoko, chicken breast for lunch, usually kangaroo or lean beef/steak for dinner, still not the 1g/lb that I'm trying to reach though, and I don't want to / can't eat more meat than I already do. The 24-5 g from a shake a day helps things without heaps of calories, and I quite like them for a drink after a workout!
  3. I agree with that, and IMO it was the problem with the other ones - too many very similar variations of cars, that all felt almost exactly the same. You'd have to be fairly bored or dedicated to even bother with B spec at all!
  4. too hard to get enough protein from food (and having to watch calories) as well.
  5. yeah the guy is full of shit, but kept PF entertained with his retarded antics for a while. Ash can you now move this to the Wasteland?
  6. ohhh hang on, is this the resident failtroll/ butt of derision from almost every PF member aka rdyno aka rdynoisatosser?
  7. damn can't find the measuring tape. Funnily enough my legs were the first part of my body to look and feel toned, but I can squat more than my bodyweight (if only I could bench or dead the same amount!)
  8. I thought the HR31s were appreciating in value, especially for good condition ones. I have a mate who has both a Passage and a GTS-X - they're fairly rare and most of the aftermarket (or even model specific OEM) parts are bloody expensive and hard to find in Australia. The interior of them is also fairly lacking as well as the actual seating feel (feels like you are sitting on the window sill), definitely not a patch on the R32.
  9. so it's safe to assume you don't look like a t-rex then I've read a few good things about Bulk Nutrients, would certainly be cheaper than what I'm paying for ON Gold Standard.
  10. probably about the same as me or a bit below cause you'd be at maintenance (assuming you're around 6ft and 25-26 like myself)
  11. just counted my calories then for a couple of days, I'm eating around 2100-2500 a day.
  12. i do both, and it's working, umad? Not autistic enough to divide meals into macros to do IIFYM
  13. what's wrong with calorie counting? seems to be a fairly well accepted and proven method.
  14. saw my first squat rack curler today, though our gym had 2 EZ Curl bars and weighted barbells specifically for that purpose which were not being used lol. Also saw smith machine deadlifts that looked hella uncomfortable. Gymbros continue their compound dodging antics, so ended up deadlifting by myself today - I take it that it's normal to scrape the shit out of your knees and shins when doing it properly?
  15. To the best of my knowledge, but IMO your best bet would be to hit up the guy you want to engineer it and see what he thinks.
  16. This. Cheap Skylines are going to be a world of pain unless you intend to do it up.
  17. Do you mean to import a poo spec Aussie R31, or a Jap HR31 coupe? OTOH, an RB30 would be about as rare as rocking horse shit in the US You can get sent to the EPA for a full emissions test here if you get caught out, but in general cars are only tested on road worthiness (varies from state to state) No cats = up to 5k fine here.
  18. The VF promises to be potentially the best locally made car ever, especially in the HSV range. Typical union bashing and incentive deriding comments, first of all, Australia does not protect its car manufacturing to anywhere near the degree that most other countries do (because ALL countries support their car manufacturing - it is in their interests to do so for a number of reasons. I can't comment for later model Fords, but Holdens VT onwards have held up really well given that most of them have been treated like pieces of shit from new. Jap imports are about equal when it comes to build quality and relative values (i.e a R33 GTS-T is worth about as much as a VS SS LOL). GTS will be <100k on road, and looks like it will have some serious potential. As for the comments about the costs of HSVs in general, lately it's been common to see Clubsports at around the 50k mark brand new. Around 40 for the SS. It's a bit of a shame Ford / FPV didn't do more promotion about the supercharged GT - minimal upgrades and you're pushing 400rwkw
  19. have a read of this in regards to Paleo just being another fad diet. I had a good laff. http://www.nsca.com/uploadedFiles/NSCA/Inactive_Content/Program_Books/PTC_2013_Program_Book/Aragon.pdf
  20. it's bad news for the Australian manufacturing industry. Unfortunately the parent company has not seemed to have had any interest in keeping the local arm alive for years. I believe that poor marketing was the final nail in the coffin.
  21. I was more implying that dual and quad cam does not necessarily a better motor make.
  22. i actually meant the 5.5l new small block lol
  23. some of the most tripped out hip hop lyrics I've ever heard lol
  24. fark why did I watch that how do you manage to break your arm doing bench? :S
