  1. gee I dunno, the LT1 is still a single cam V engine, and smaller capacity than its predecessors
  2. crossposting from WT, but I haven't taken any close up of the paint yet. It does look that good as in the pic, paint looks brand new , that's with a crappy ol Meguiars claybar that I had lying around, followed by a coat of Duragloss 601 paint prep, and a coat of 105 synthetic sealant / polish over the top. Lasts about 6 months or so with regular top ups with Aqua Wax quick detailer. Best sealant / wax I've used so far.
  3. you could have a go at just swapping it over / then getting the car registered with the 'new' engine number, worked for several people I know, just that when it comes time to sell / re register the car, have another motor ready to swap over. Pain in the arse, but better than having to fork out 4k for a full emissions test that you might fail anyway....
  4. Oh I'll still get both, just that GT does not have the enduring entertainment value of Forza..
  5. just did a second coat of Duragloss 105 and 601 almost 6 months after the first application (due to running out of Aqua Wax to bring it back up again). Fantastic stuff (inc the Aqua wax), seriously better than anything off the shelf like Megs / Mothers / Autoglym and costs about the same. It's surprising how a lot of the specialty stuff can compete in price (esp bought from Waxit or Car Care Products) I used to use Megs Tech Wax 2.0, but it does not give the hard, lasting protection and shine that the two step Duragloss system does (with weekly top ups of Aqua Wax). I also currently use 303 Aerospace Protectant on the exterior trims but have noticed it only lasts for about 3 weeks max. Will probably invest in some Nanolex Trim Rejuvenator when this bottle runs out, as my car sits outside 24/7. I don't go all out with cloths and applicators - I use Turtle Wax foam applicators and their buffing cloths, and a generic microfibre noodle style wash mitt. I do however always do the two bucket system when hand washing.
  6. I had the revelation at the gym today that if you keep the barbell closer to your shins, it's easier to maintain correct form! Managed an entire week of no squats, my gymbro had a sore back so did dat dere OHP instead.
  7. just get it onto the same level as Forza... improve the sound, handling dynamics, physics, better learning curve (rather than stupid licences bs), give more tangible results to modifications etc
  8. yep not a fan of their new album, like I said in WT, i knew what they were trying to do with it, but I don't listen to Daft Punk for that sort of music and it was mediocre at best. A lot of their older stuff is hit and miss as well, but I find that with all French electronic music.

  10. that's the one!
  11. haha hello rotor, goodbye fuel economy and apex seals. It's quite unlikely you'll find a fast and reliable import of any type for under 10k, you may luck out though. It's also why people keep suggesting locally made stuff. Up your price range perhaps?
  12. just the factory 17s. macaroni: do you drive offroad a lot? I didn't really find that apart from dust tending to stick to them,
  13. Well the benefits of OTR intakes have been proven by using both magnahelic gauges and dyno charts (on LS motors at least)
  14. last time I checked, welded diffs cost a slab at most hahaha
  15. 10k would buy you an L98 + box + cam to get it into the 10s, the rest is up to you
  16. Yeah it's still in the US versions of most of these fat burners - it makes me feel a tad warmer, but nothing drastic thankfully. Who knows, maybe it's all just an awesome placebo effect! I know of a few other former fatasses who have used OEP to good effect as well.
  17. I don't really know what you were expecting when you knocked back all of the suggestions made to you that fit your criteria.
  18. I've read this, but can you prove it either way? Genuinely curious
  19. I find it hard to get enough sleep in the week, but I have the OEP to help the weight loss process - since starting it I have actually noticed a real drop from where I'd been plateauing for a while - I'm all for calling out broscience and bullshit supps, but this stuff really seems to work for me. Don't know if it's just the DMAA or the combination of that and Yohimbe. Haven't really changed diet (cbf trying to work out macros) apart from only eating broccoli and grilled chicken for lunch during the week and making more of an effort to stay consistent on weekends.
  20. You can still get DMAA based stuff imported in - I got some Oxy Elite Pro, works quite well at stopping me from habitually eating. Taking two in one day was a bad idea though (made me really anxious lol)
  21. I am curious as to why everyone all of a sudden is all excited over Penrite - I know thye have been fairly aggressive with their marketing, but is there any test results or anything of the like to back it up?
  22. they do have their uses and sometimes there's no room to fit anything else. I wouldn't use the MCM vids as a rule for every car, it really depends on whether the stock intake tract is a restriction, which for the vast majority of imports (being small capacity or turbocharged) it isn't.
  23. You could get something as fast or faster, but you'd have to buy locally made or some flogged out modified POS import lol
  24. haven't lifted for 3 days, feel like a fat fark! Also dont know how people do training before work!
