  1. Nah WPI all the way just for the taste m8s. I had to force down f**king 5k of BN WPC that I could barely stand the taste of. Tolga: I wish I could afford to eat steaks like that as often as I have protein shakes old mate
  2. Glad you like it - I've never been to anywhere that plays non commercial house music or the like. I really like Kerri Chandler though! It's this very thread that has introduced me to a lot of music from several genres that I never would have heard of otherwise
  3. Love the dub of Bar A Thym @ 1:00:00
  4. I have some here, but I keep forgetting to take it; it probably wouldn't be a bad thing though, since I sweat a lot. Leesh: I don't like the idea of doing partial ROM squats, due to the stress it puts on the knees. I've heard of a similar yet different method which involves doing a set til failure, then having a spotter help you do the final rep in parts until you physically cannot move it anymore.
  5. That logic is true in regards to 99% of supplements out there. Most people aren't smart enough to find out what sort of dosage, PCT to use with gear though. Many of the more garbage supps claim to give 'anabolic' effects though lol. I don't think that pre workout is a bad thing when used sparingly. I couldn't take this stuff all the time, even if I wanted to, as I'd be awake all night, every night. I did notice on an otherwise average feeling day, that I could pump out the last 3 sets of DB rows easier or other high volume work for example. Didn't really make any difference to my 5/3/1 sets, though the lack of sleep was telling in my shitty results. FWIW BN went on and on for ages about how their PW101 was more effective at helping during exercise than stim based stuff, they ended up caving - smartly - to market pressure for a pre workout that was stim heavy and gave 'the pump like caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahmming'. Protein powder is a convenience, nothing more or less, despite what supp companies want you to think. I generally only have fish oil (jury still out on benefit), Vitamin D (office worker and white as f**k) and Psyllium husk. I can't find any conclusive evidence of multivitamins being good for anything, and I don't feel any different not taking them. I actually think that many bro curlers will never get it tbh.
  6. I'll admit that I only started using a PWO to make up for lack of sleep (that and was curious about the new product from BN) I don't think I'll end up using it all the time
  7. BN quoted my comment on another forum saying it blew both C4 and Ronnie Coleman's PW out of the water

  9. Makes me think of grapefruit. Celeb / BB "workouts" are generally ghost written bullshit. Regardless, how they train, and how someone who's not a BB'er on 'slin, HGH and huge amounts of gear with 10+ years experience are worlds apart.
  10. mfw I have bigger calves than everyone in the gym apart from the 1 competetive bodybuilder and don't do any calf isolations at all. regretting doing heavy db rows yesterday then heavy deadlift and volume squat today - lats and upper back did not want.
  11. farmer's walks did wonders for my grip, that and Kroc rows
  12. I've started making liquid chalk from isopropanol + chalk to get around the chalk ban at my gym - works well, apart from the chalk powder clumping in the bottle.
  13. results vary I guess - I deliberately don't consume large amounts of caffiene regularly, so this stuff hit me harder than any amount of energy drinks / coffee etc

  15. N03X is some pretty intense stuff - took it for the last two training sessions, tbh it gives me a buzz like something illegal. Definitely helps with grinding out the reps, and yes you get the pump like caaaaaaaarming.
  16. These Boiler Room sets seem to be consistently good - I also liked this one
  17. nice squat, looks like he only just hit depth though!
  18. OP reads like he is in the US / Canada where the dynos read higher than here as well... GTR would have edge over the average 400+ hp Commo purely based on AWD and the fact that GT-R owners don't tend to cheap out on tyres / useless big rims. Weight wise, if it's pre VE then it's almost the same.

  20. I found my Ling Long 'Hi Fly' Tyres to be quite sticky when new, and less noisy than the Yokohama Advans they replaced - they just went hard as hell after 3 months lol. Running some Hankook H457 rear, H452 front (due to H457 NLA). Not too bad so far, but only just got the Ling Longs changed off the rear, so time will tell for performance. Unfortunately car is a daily so can't really justify the 222s
  21. probably a better thread for the N/A section, but assuming you're talking LS, then yes it's totally doable and has been done before, good upgrade. You'll need some engine mounts and custom fabricated headers (or stock ones I guess) exhaust will obviously have to be custom, as will be driveshaft. As for the ins and outs of it, there are a couple of guys who have or are doing LS swaps on the forum here, NickR33 springs to mind, but his was an LS1 auto. You'd probably run a modified factory loom as well I'm assuming.
  22. yeah their flavourings of things are a bit hit and miss IMO - their Test Max was undrinkable, in any amount of water; the smell of it makes me gag even.
  23. in that book, it's mentioned only as a another possible variation of 5/3/1 - most do The Triumverate or Boring But Big
  24. From 5/3/1 2nd Edition by Jim Wendler
  25. I thought he was comparing to a typical BB split. You can also do DC training in conjunction with 5/3/1, but Wendler advises to never do it with squats and deadlifts.
