I had thought about it, and for the 300 dollars on a 560, I could spend 100 bucks less and SLI the two 460's which ought to keep me going for up to 2 years (depending on games development). I'd then either go to a x70 or an x80 depending. That's fair enough George, I was referring to booting from a Caviar Green, having your swap file etc all on it. I run Caviar Blacks in a RAID 0, and that's barely fast enough. Eventually I'll just stripe two Velociraptors and be selective about which games I install

by tits I mean awesome its the gigabyte 1 gig version overclocked to 950/1900/1686 and a i5 760 @ 2.88Ghz, 8 gigs of Gskill 8-8-8 1600mhz ram, was shocked at just how smoothly it runs tbh

that's a really nice build tbh, but why such a tiny case? tossing up between SLI GTX 460 or a 570 for mine, will probably go SLI cause it's cheaper

well given that Duke3d was a DOS based game, your windows version wouldnt have counted for anything tbh, as it would have been booting you back out to DOS to run it. I used to run it from a Win95 command prompt, ran well as long as all of your dos drivers were configured correctly (having a genuine Creative SB16 helped sooo much here!) Also I find it hard to believe that you would have been in fact able to run it on a 386, perhaps you are thinking of a 486? Clutch:DIAF

how did you get it to run on a 386? ^_~ I used to run it on a Cyrix PR166 and a Pentium 120, shit was totez cash even had the nude patch to see teh strippers and the reason why the women are all like KILLL MEEEEE is cause they are infected derrrr tbh I've never seeen another game with such cool level design, apart from maybe Blood

I had one come with my car (redundant due to RB25), and a mate had one on his RB20DET NICS, BUT it was already installed on the car from Japan, and was one of those ones set for the usual catback, removal of speed cut etc etc. Main problem with the ebay ones is like what's been said, you often just don't know what specs or fuel they were tuned for

ahahaha what do you mean? given that GT5 was GT4 with a new set of shoes on (seriously most of the cars looked like straight ports), I fail to see WHERE these extra years of development went. I was expecting something mindblowing, I got GT4 with cars that refuse to turn, with graphics on par with Forza 2.

the irony is, people like Div and myself are probably the most objective, given that we are PC gamers and deride all consoles, however the fact remains that the 360 and Forza are better than GT5 and the PS3. The console itself on a purely technical standpoint, and the game on a mixture of technical and subjective.
