  1. damn, what could happen next, a piano falling onto it?! Sorry to hear, I'd be heartbroken if it was my car
  2. Interesting that it has an autospoiler, AFAIK, the rare R32's that thad them were of the non retractable type.
  3. I hope you're taking the piss about your civic.
  4. I just mean like some of the quirks of the HR's, like needing to use parts from 6 or so other models of Nissans to convert them to 5 stud and RB25 operation!
  5. he does have a point though.... It's hard to put a price on something like this, to be honest, it's whatever an enthusiast is willing to pay for it.
  6. have fun with that Passage, HR31's tend to need a lot of parts / maintenence not really seen in other models of Skylines lol.
  7. So would like to know if anyone has ever attempted to put new bolts in the places where I snapped those two off!
  8. all I'm saying is that low cpi count metal cats are cool, it's just daft to go to the expense if it dosen't meet some kind of basic emissions requirement!
  9. the real question is, WILL they fit on an R33?!
  10. We have a couple of old Acer Veriton 7500G 'server' boxes at work that run Red Hat. Server 2003 would just about kill them loool. I can see the point there. But for general computing, not so much. I did notice with interest though, that Dell offer Ubuntu as an option with their netbooks!
  11. should probably make sure it's emissions legal, otherwise you may as well run a decat
  12. pretty much, and yeah after i'd uploaded them to my computer noticed that i had gunk on my phone camera lens. there is a flat side like a rivet on the other side of the threads, going to look at just getting another window before the thread replacement option. my inital reaction was FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. I figured that I am probably not the first person to do this, but wasn't sure if it was one of those kind of things which are set into the glass at the factory while it is still hot etc. My failure was in attempting to tighten them up to the point as they were when I took the window out. Spose that will teach me to tighten things up too fkn much.
  13. or you could man up and decat that shit
  14. FFS. new assembly has arrived, and went in fine, however I was foolishly trying to do the locating nuts up as tight as they were beforehand and one snapped off. The other snapped off taking it off. Low quality pics show what I mean here, the red circle is the head of the nut which has snapped off. Is it possible to get these re threaded in some way or am I just going to have to get a new window. fml
  15. probably people who've raced against non turbo ones
  16. well it's reletively low here, not sure about the exact altitude, are you implying that maybe it was tuned in an area with a higher altitude?
  17. yeah I can help out due to the amounts of time spent on here! however why are you rolling out a new version? this is one of the best designed forum layouts I've ever used!
  18. If you have ever seen one with a "good" tune please let me know, because I know of 3 other cars with Microtechs locally which have the exact same symptoms. This is also running a tune from CRD.
  19. it should be able to boot from USB
  20. if they sell WD Elements drives, grab one of those, as they aren't much more expensive than the hard disk itself! Also format it when you get it if it has any stupid back up software etc, that stuff is crap!
  21. neither did I apart from some games having graphical glitches, until 10.7 completely trashed the gfx drivers in Windows and I had to manually remove them all from the System32 folder. Just sayin though, why get a 5850 when there's a better option out for less cash
  22. I am aware of this, however it is the worst piece of bloatware that I have to inflict on our users here.
  23. Whilst that is true it is a nice feature to have anyway. GTX 460's have a shitload of potential, for example, my Gigabyte one sits on a core clock speed of 845 mhz and the ram at 2200mhz! I haven't been able to make the temps get above 63 degrees at these speeds! The only thing really holding me back is the fact that I can't adjust voltage on this card. For ~$250-280 each, you're mad to go for a 5850! You also get drivers that work perfectly out of the box, and no funny artifacing in games like the Catalyst drivers tend to do. I don't think I'll be going back to ATI until they can get some decent drivers.
  24. or decat if you prefer. Next exhaust I get will be a Kakimoto, legal and still sound good!
  25. Kristafa: did you get your AWD to work with yours, and if so, then how? I have pretty much the exact same problems PM-R33, 18L/100 sucks, so does having to replace completely carbon fouled plugs every 10000km. My smokescreens are incredible on WOT, good for tailgaters though LOL.
