A mate got a Series 5 FC a few months ago, and it's completely stock, it actually has decent fuel consumption and hasn't had any problems yet, though it's been looked after by its Aussie owners well.

oem filters are like 10 or 12 bucks at the local Nissan dealer, I just use those now, don't really see the point of a $20+ drift/k&n one on a stock motor.

for the same money, you could build yourself a fairly kick arse games machine over here.
