  1. ah yes I'd heard of people reballing them, but surely expensive machine + a lot of time and effort = may as well get a new xbox?
  2. Ash, with the exception of resoldering the entire motherboard, I can't think of any way that your mate does it which would make it more effective than these home fixes. BTW for me, GTA 4 was the straw that ended up breaking it again LOL. The newer 360's have smaller processor dies, and slightly improved cooling, as well as more effective methods of keeping the chips attached to the board. I used the nylon + metal washer method on mine, and fiddled around with varying amounts of pressure, washers etc etc The newest itineration of the Xbox has signifigantly improved cooling and even more efficient power usage, but even the latest update before that is pretty much free of the RROD problems.
  3. they should make it 50 posts to pm, to weed out all the fags who only come on here to spam for sale threads
  4. Franga, I've done that on one of my Xboxes, they end up failing again after a while. Got 3 more months out of my 2007 one. I think that once the solder joints are f**ked, there's no permanent fix.
  5. I looked into this extensively and came to this conclusion: Buy a new xbox. All of the repairs which I have tried have ended up failing again, sometimes days, sometimes months later. It's a lot less headaches and stuffing around to just buy a new Arcade.
  6. thread keeps on delivering fyi, we're not condemning him for speeding, it's the fact that he got caught enough times to lose his licence 3 times in 5 years, then bitches about insurance premiums on a car he likely dosen't own anyway! It should be moved to the wasteland for further lols
  7. lulz good read chaps would read again! to the OP: you're either a lame troll, can't actually AFFORD the car, and to add to that your driving is obviously shocking. You're getting panned by everyone for good reason. Who in their right mind loses their licence THREE times in FIVE years and expects to get a decent insurance quote!?!? on a R35 no less!
  8. might buy a ps3 for it lulz
  9. haha marc if you couldn't win races in NFS:SE then you must suck! lol.

  11. you obviously didn't play Broken Steel Doof I thought the storyline was brilliant and in the true spirit of the Fallout series. Most of those who say otherwise are NMA haters anyway @_@ hmm $50US preorder vs however much retail? makes sense!?!!1111

  13. well given that it's cable, the distance from the exchange shouldn't really matter, it's less than 1km from the Neighborhood Cable head office here, and the node box type installation is right out the front of work! Line quality shouldn't be an issue with optic fibre LOL.
  14. stage 1 2 3 etc is how the VL and greater Commode crowd differenciate between cam, turbo etc specs. I lol'd at that website, it almost looks like a stellar troll effort!

  22. Yeah it's mostly our execs who are popping boners over the Ipad and are leaning on us to get one for evaluation. We have the a similar system already set up with the Iphones we have for staff (enterprise app, email syncing etc). Most of them have Dell E4300 laptops anyway which are tiny!
  23. Stagea isn't really a cruiser.
