  1. thank the LAWWWD! another one saved!
  2. well thats what I was thinking, but also the fact that I assume the people who own the ex Gibson R31's are going to want as many period parts as possible. There was a thread not long ago about the differences internally in those motors, didn't they have headwork and some secret cam profile?
  3. assuming that numbers matched and it was a complete motor then a fair bit I'd imagine
  4. $465 is a bit steep for a catback for a R31, get an exhaust shop to knock you one up out of mild steel, should be around the 300 dollar mark at the most!
  5. pfff shit posts more like
  6. I usually beat them with golf clubs, but I hear cricket bats are good too
  7. lol I'll have to start scrounging then, good food for thought though, I know a surprising amount of people who own weights but never use them in favour of doing light cardio!
  8. neither of those cars appears to have any suspension mods, which is quite incredible given the amount of engine work etc ^_~
  9. so to start the ball rolling on this, I'm going to need a gym membership aren't I
  10. i hear that "jobs" are pretty overrated fyi
  11. i have been a member there for many years, I know how to communicate in their language
  12. from what I've read so far, it's best to do really hard excercise for say an hour a day to increase base metabolism whilst modifying diet accordingly?
  13. so basically I should not stop eating, load up a backpack with bricks and start jogging? interesting read, whoever writes those newsletters must be very passionate (it's not you is it GTST?)
  14. they've been doing retrograding speed limits here lately - my favourite is turning another 70 zone into a 60 zone without telling anyone, then putting a speed camera on the intersection next to where you used to speed up FFS@^#&$@
  15. i can't believe some of the draconian suggestions some of you are making. i do love these knee jerk reactions to isolated incidents fueled by unreliable sensationalist media sources such as the Herald Sun and "current affairs" tv shows - Port Arthur anyone? Fact is people will always die on the roads and no amount of policing or law changing is going to reduce that to zero - there are too many inherent risks associated with driving or riding in a motor vehicle that cannot be completely eliminated (mainly due to the human factor).
  16. Actually a fellow Skyline enthusiast did the other day when we were parked at a local cruising spot talking, and a random commodore pulled up and threw water bombs at our Skylines. My other mate and I weren't too worried, but as was pointed out we would have been pissed off if the balloons had had something in them or eggs. Lucky the cop was driving past 30 seconds later to wave down.
  17. lol burn! Calais Turbo does not agree with your opinions that he has any sense of fairness
  18. sounds like the tards at Autobarn trying to sell me nulon oil and trying to also say it's better quality than the Motul 8100 which is more expensive as well lol. Or the guy at Sprint who reccommended one coolant over another because it had 'more shit in it'
  19. lol taking the drivers seat out helps a LOT
  20. figjam: refer to the rotary thread pls
  21. get trumpets with no mufflers, best sounding RB note I've heard
  22. bullshit, nobody likes the tuna here!
  23. HR31 feels antiquated to drive IMO especially compared to the R32, also feels like you're sitting on the passenger's lap since it is quite squeezy inside. Depends otherwise on whether you're comparing GT-R or not, R32 w/RB25 is the ultimate Skyline IMO
  24. hey floody, a couple of questions, did you have to do much guard rolling to get those rims to fit? (which look fat btw), and is that an R31House sticker on the bootlid?
  25. foulcon looks like it's on the way out anyway marco there's a lot more R33 haters around here than R32 haters I can assure you!
