hehe HR31 wiring, always fun, watch out if you ever put an RB25 gearbox on it, or a NEO motor - I've yet to see how to get both speedo and tacho working with them (apart from that dodgy smashing a navara cog onto the sender type thing)

I have two mates with HR31's, its usually a case of knowing which other Nissans you can find interchangable parts with but Japanese Import Spares are really helpful with either tracking down HR-31 parts or providing alternatives, otherwise you could use an agent in Japan to source parts from R31House (awesome quality with insane prices lol) Some stuff like air con vents you can interchange with the local R31's - bonnets fit as well. RHDJapan also stock some HR31 specific parts.

Yeah those ones Peter89, no match for a Landcruiser with a bullbar which has nearly as much steel as a bulldozer blade and a lift kit! haha all of $135 dollars yeah, put a few mates onto them too, they fit perfectly in an R32 engine bay, was cheaper by FAR to do that, buying the battery off the local mechanic than to even buy a cheap shit 400CCA no name brand one from supercheap etc.

Just that one would have thought in the US there would be a lot cheaper options (hence me mentioning LS series motors) than building a RB24 motor for huge power, have you looked at exporting an RB30 bottom end from over here and using an RB25 head as another option?

I have the R32 to impress women with, and the VN before it haha ;p Marc, if you looked at sales figures you will see that quantity is not an important factor for depreciation as much - Commodore regularly outsells Falcon, but there is always a noticable depreciation gap between the two.

its a case of anybody's guess marc since nearly all have had odometers wound back. Also the mechanical side of a VN is hugely simplified compared to the R32, its like comparing a Model T Ford to say a 60's Cadillac with all the fruit. Simple = easier to maintain.

Most R32's I've seen are still running original engines and suspensions with god knows how many k's as well marc When I sold mine it had done 380k, 80k since engine rebuild, the paint was starting to peel for the second time (had been resprayed before I bought it), lasted well in fact. mine is coming up to needing bushes replaced which is fair after 20 years of use lol.

why not just use an LS1 if going for a dyno queen / drag car? Also wouldn't an RB22 be the easiest and cheapest to build (probably not going to gain a whole amount out of it I guess)
