hey guys i got a 1993 32 gtst its got -fmic -oil cooler -stock dump pipe, trust down pipe and a 3 inch with one muffler! -walbro fuel pump.. usure what.. but better than stock lol -hks adj waste gate actuator after paint and coil-overs i have around 2400$, tune and re-map around $400 so i have 2 g left for upgrade.. am thinking Z32 AFM bigger turbo full dump pipe to cat but that is as far as i have got so far. a mate reccomended a kkr replacement turbo around $580 from ebay, had a look, rated too 430hp etc, what are peoples opinions on these, or a VG30 turbo, i like the idea of KKR because it is a new item and not used before. fair sure i want too stay internal gate and low mound too try keep the fuzz away! any opinions, reccomendations etc would be very appreciated... thanks lee

yeah the importer wont keep doin em i dont think... not like tha car has a hell of a lot of power! lol fair much stock, would say pulling around 160 atw lol! its more the inconvenience that is giving me tha shits!

hey people i got a 1993 r32 gtst rb20det! the original gear box blew the centre bearing, i thought do it properly and bought a re-built box from a local importer, thought it was properly until, the box blew 3rd gear, just doing a simple down shift ready 2 speed up, with all but 1 tooth left on the gear. the importer replaced it under warrany, hopefully would all be ok, then that box died and a syncro moved around 5mm away from the gear. that box was replaced under warranty also. next box thought would be ok, 5th gear just seemed 2 dissapear one day and started too demolish the rest of the box, took it back importer said it was because i didn change the spigot when i did the first box, so he replaced that and put another box in under warranty, well now that next box has lost 5th... same noises same problem as the last one, put it in 5th and there is just nothin there, has a massive wine on idle and driving! any ideas why this one might have blown the same thing?? no its not my driving either!! thanks a lot any opinions would help! lee

have decided will have a sus cos it seems to hunt between 500 and 1000 rpm on idle, see if there are any vac leaks etc! then wind the boost back down till i can afford a re map and tune!

lol was wondering why i hadnt heared about a boost solenoid! ummm wich is the bypass valve hose and the wastegate actuator is obviously the one the bleed valve is on.. between housing and wastegate actuator!

ok im kinda a newbie kinda not! lol stock boost solenoid? is that located where the vac line enters for the stock boost guauge?? also that problem seems to have fixed itself slightly, now it accelerates good but once it has spooled up the power seems 'flat' could the injectors be maxing out or not getting enough fuel? has a walbro pump.. maybe needs new fuel pressure reg? thanks

hey did a search and that answered some of my questions... anyway got r32gtst fmic greddy front pipe and 3 inch exhaust with a adjustable wastegate actuator, put a bleed valve in a while ago and it still wouldnt go over .7 ish bar, so i took the heat shield off and wound the threaded bar into the turbo end more, and went for a drive boost guauge says it go's upto .9 ish bar it holds there for a second or 2 and then it drops down to .7ish abar somethimes.. worked out in first gear it only boosted to .5 - .6 second gear .6 - .9 and then drops off... did i wind the actuator the right way.... the bleed valve dosent seem to be making any difference normal? what could be wrong? thanks lee
