its funny you mention warranty on a laptop bag. they can actually be faulty in my experience have seen a few laptop bags be replaced within warranty (stitch faults etc). you never ever know!! ever!!
-
your brain isnt efficient enough you shouldnt have put one of their bovs on!!!

Lol Charles I wasn't referring to you! I Charles'd you for the ninja man ;p. Said PS was for the youngins out there
-
Charles PS: What is ever so wrong with having a non turbo, non modified car while on your Ps? Either imports have dropped too low in value, or parents don't mind splashin' cash and risking the lives of their young.

I've never seen an R33 parked at that AMF, I drive past it at least 3-4 times a day!

noice. buy 4x pack 250mls works out cheaper than 2x "jumbo" cans. smashed through a 4x pack earlier before..

its not about speeding or playing around, traffic accidents happen and they arent always your fault

you didnt read my post did you? i stated the obvious, i was talking about pro mod classes and higher.. you pay to watch any motorsport and youll only see your segment of the track (1 bend or straight). by your logic, that is boring as well. my family is heavily involved in drag racing (top fuel), and ill admit that there is no excitement in the street/pro street classes; the excitement is for the drivers. however, the higher classes do offer a form of entertainment to those who enjoy motorsport. no need to justify what is considered entertainment, as everyones views differ. you could enjoy watching ducks swim in the lake i wont dare ask you what is so interesting about it

anyone heading up to winton for drift attack? ps: drag racing isnt boring, maybe to watch street cars all night. but, anything higher than pro mod is exciting imo

LOL Just Cars Insurance... I'll be changing on renewal, to Shannons. After my accident, I had it sent to choice of repairer. They insisted on picking it up and taking it to a better place, and claiming the shop I sent it to quoted second hand parts as opposed to the "better place" (which is BS because I know the people at the shop). A "better place" whom has replaced my type m grille with another type and asked me for $1500 because the front bar was a "special" one (which i've since told AAMI), not that I tried telling them about the car or whatever. AAMI now has the car and will deal with the repairer; I was just lucky enough to have a client whom is an AAMI accredited repairer and told me I had that option (because I did not want to deal with the repairer and was just going to let it be). Albeit my concerns about the repairer's professionality, and the lack of confidence I had in the repairer, AAMI persisted it go back there under "strict" QA and sign off from AAMI before I pick it up. Heres hoping...

as far as warranties are concerned (for anything in australia, with australian warranty), if an item is purchased brand new, legally they must cover said item for minimum 12 months. however, the reseller or manufacturer has the right to do various testing (ie: determining if the unit was operated within tolerances as per design reference, physically damaged, incorrectly installed etc). if the reseller or manufacturer can prove the item was void of warranty, they are not obliged to repair or replace the item (having said that, they can also opt to do so). on that note, its anybodies statutory right to further the issue via small claims etc, and then it is upto the magistrate to decide. i suppose the question is; will seeking for the damages be feasible? (will it cost more in legal representation/time/stress etc?). as has been mentioned, it would look like a messy case, and might cost you more stress than the pocket. ps: this isnt legal advise, but i have called various govt bodies regarding warranties in the past, and this is some of what i was told (they also mentioned to me that it isnt legal advise ). simply put, seek legal advise and hear what they have to say. depending on the costs, it most likely wouldnt be worth the effort and time from work (and all the rest of it). just to clarify, with two examples: 1. you purchased a turbo from an authorised reseller, whom also installed the turbo and tested/tuned the car. if the turbo is kept within the tolerances as per design, and the turbo fails, you would claim warranty on the unit alone. (this is assuming the turbo was installed correctly, if not you would put forward a complaint against the workshop and seek damages). 2. you purchased a stage 3 shift kit for your brand spanker xr6t or hsv something or other, subsequently your gearbox fails. you wouldnt claim warranty on the gearbox (you could try but it would be void), however you could put forward a complaint against the workshop and seek damages). hope this helps in any way.

Windows 7 - What Do You Guys Think Of It?
trance replied to KR4-GTR's topic in PC & Games Discussion
Windows 7 is only slightly different to vista in terms of usage, UI is a little different but once you pass the teething phase its quite nifty. have been using rtm since late july (for recovery disk developement), and can honestly say that for end user, it is a major stepup. most drivers are there from media install, and if they arent on the media install, windows update is on it asap. -
Yeah grats to beza for the friend making! Especially one who has a respectable car also.

Hey guys, I know this isnt the WTB thread, but Im posting here in hope that someone local might have what im looking for. I was wondering if anybody has a spare carbon canister mounting bracket for an r33? its the one that sits at the front of the engine bay. just my luck that nissan dont have it in au and that its a 3wk turnaround time I stupidly "lent" it to someone whom had a bodgey canister setup and now am left without one. Would love to grab one today as I would really like to be driving the car for tonight's cruise. Ill even grab it at the cruise if someone could bring it along with them. Either PM or post here would be much appreciated! Sean
