No idea who he is talking about. But never the less, my coilpacks werent right for your mates setup apparently. All good got them going to a dude in ippy
So been almost a month since I've updated this thread. Few bits going on here and there.
I've almost completed the GTR front end conversion. Just need to source a GTR bonnet that people dont want half a years salary for. (Excuse the shitty S2 bonnet on it
I also decided to fatten up the rear quarters a bit. I tolled up welding in GTR rear panels but thought it too much work for now so i cheap'd out and just bought some over fenders. Quick test fit
I also picked up some fender washers as well, which might add a nicer touch
Also this is how I've been paying for most of my parts lately
Finally here are some new front wheels I purchased last week. 15" front runners
^ all for the GTR name Ants!
I also took a picture of my parts room at home a few weeks back. Few of these bits are now sold, however it made for a good photo :-)
Thanks Mathew, No CAS on this car mate. Gone to a trigger setup.
In regards to the front car lip. At this stage all i want it to get it all together first then i will work on the minor touches.. but it might need something thats for sure
I also sourced a Greddy RB26 plenum for my motor. BEing a rb25 head I will have to run adaptor plates for the plenum and ITB's to work properly
Plenum fresh from the sand blasters
Decided to give it a Carbon Hydro-Dip to see how it would look. This finish may or may not last, Im not overly fussed either way and really just did it as i was curious to see the end product and how it would hold up to the element of an engine bay.
Finished product after a clear coat
Still a heap of things to update on over the coming days
Not too much happening here on the motor side of things but there is a lot of changes to the car itself which is going to be keeping me busy. Ive decided to throw a GTR front end onto the car and with a series 2 gtst this isnt the most straight forward of tasks. Anyway Ive been able to source all the parts needed and started to test fit it.
Panels off
Comparison from GTST to GTR guards

Also picked up a GTR front bar and grill
Also thought about running this badge to stir up all the gtr owners out there
Was trawling this thread the realised i recognised the car etc. Turns out I ended up buying this turbo for my build. Super keen to run it and see what i can make from it
