E85 by far the best bang for buck modification you can do to a car. I picked up 100hp back on my stock 25 just by switching fuel and taking 2psi OUT!

I ran the no spoiler look for a long time till i got the drag wing. Once you see a 33 with the flush bootlid its hard to see it with only the stock one and still like it Thanks Ants. coming along slowly. the tough side is still yet to come. There is a lot more shit on the other side of the engine bay to work around. Baby steps

busy day working. Also a little update to the build thread. I dont mind a bit of car work in the morning then actual work in the afternoon.

Played around with the car a little bit today. Ripped out all the air con gear along with some other unwanted engine bay items. Ive also stated the long process of degreasing the engine bay. One thing i have noticed is this will take a long time! Air Con out. Didnt have a large enough spanner to get this out so it was a good excuse to buy an over the top spanner collection. 8mm-32mm should do it. Here is a picture of the one area i cleaned today. Still a bit here to get rid of Also here is a photo or the top of the firewall, jsut to show you a before and after with the degreaser

Its a bit lighter than your blue i think Ants. Will be interesting to see what its like on the motor.

Motor still at PLR going through options. RB26 covers painted. Really like the blue so far.

Only reason Id sell is to go better Motor needs a few G pumped in to push it to where i wanna go. There also been a good motor come up at a good price that im finding hard to avoid

Thanks Mathew, at this stage the covers will go blue as my mate has some of it lying around. Definitely will go a deep purple in the future. All build threads start somewhere. I've owned this car for over 6 years and i've really only started pushing the limits in the last 2. Your car is a great base to start with and looks tidy! Quickly threw the bootlid on tonight to see what it looked like. Terrible phone quality.

Nice base for a build mate. Personally i love the colour choice for the covers. Unfortunately I think with adding so much blue to the bay it takes away from it a bit and there is too many different colours going on there. If you replaced all the blue with new black it would have looked a bit cleaner. Though this is only my opinion and its your car and if you're happy with it then thats the main thing. Air box looks like it will turn out really good too!
