You're right. Its good to see the odd bit of car related talk going on in here. I also think to generalize all P Platers as certain kind of drivers isnt the way to go about it. I bet there is a lot of P platers out there and even on this forum who are "better" drivers that fully licensed people.

If in doubt throw more horsepower at it. You can always "Power" your way out of a bad situation right? Seems like some hate to the dirty 30 conversions in here

I always knew it was never going to be a simple change over. Im not worried/fazed at all that its taking a few weeks longer with these little things. Id rather it all be done right the first time.

Still at All Star Tuning. Long story short is there is a few hiccups here and there with the transplant. Nothing major just little things here and there that need modifying as they foul on other parts etc. Heaps of little niggly things like that. Last i heard was the E85 was eating away at hte fuel line a little so once thats fixed its ready to Dyno. Its full of water and oil and just needs the leaky line fixed.

I reckon if you go to the trouble of building a 30/25 then you should choke it up with a small turbo like a GT30. To get the true benefit of the change I reckon a GT35 or larger is a must. In saying that Ive never been in a 30/35 running a GT30 variant so not sure how it would drive

We've always had a problem and its got nothing to do with your box....

I use Rob Bliss in Geebung, Haven't run into problems with them. Got a catback system when i first bought the car then went back a few years later and got them to finish it off. Just got the drump re done at a place in Brendale as I changed to highmount

Only time an auto should be in a jap car is if its a 2 or 3 speed and used for racing.....
