  1. Second that. 2nd October FTW, plus I already took leave from work for it.
  2. Just drive to Sydney Nick, it's only 3.5 hours away!!
  3. Any spare spots? I wouldn't mind seeing what my Stagea can do.
  4. I'm no expert but I would say one snowboard. The racks lock to the roof rails, the snowboard holders have a lock to secure the snowboard. They can't be removed from the racks when on the car.
  5. Link to my eBay auction for a set of C34 Stagea roof racks. eBay C34 Stagea roof racks
  6. Count me in for this. ACT Stagea owners, we could all meet up & cruise into the meet point for this?
  7. I have a Stagea hoodie and shirt from SAU QLD. As for future merchandise, how about thermal brew mugs? Like the ones you see at any coffee shop going for a fortune. Just don't make SAU NSW brew mugs cost the Earth lol.
  8. The problem lay with the fuse in the engine bay that the positive power from the battery flows through to the amps. The fuse in it was loose, therefore no power was getting through. Warren at DBL Car Stereo in Fyshwick identified the fault for me, only set me back $20 for a new fuse holder. Chris, thank you for sending me to see Warren. He was very helpful, and said to say hi to you. Thank you everyone for your help. It is so good having tunes again.
  9. Nah not industrial deafness lol, but after being in artillery for 10 years it is a possibility down the track. It was the in-line fuse on my power cable from the battery to the amps that was the fault. Warren at DBL in Fyshwick identified the fault & it cost $20 for a new fuse holder. It is great having tunes again.

  11. It hasn't been a problem for the almost two years I've had this install. The light on the amps comes on for a second, then goes out. So power must be getting in there for that second, I just don't know what is the problem. Every fuse is ok, I can't find any loose wires. I thought that the remote wire from the deck to the amp was loose, but it seemed fine, nothing loose. Could it be internal to the amps or head unit? Or could the RCAs if not working be the problem? I didn't think though that RCAs conducted current. I tried calling you before Chris, I'll try again later.
  12. I'll have a look at that today. I now also have my turbo timer turning off & back on randomly as I drive. Good times!!
  13. I'll have a look at the amp lights tomorrow, about to head off to work for the night. The amp fuses were not blown. The head unit stays on, plays tracks on my iPod which hooks up via USB. Just no sound. The amp RCAs & power cables looked ok, I'll have a better look on my days off. The two amps are under each front seat. The 4 ch runs the speakers, 2 ch runs the sub.
  14. is there a fuse in the Head unit? at the back. Yes there is, it is ok. who did the wiring? were they soldered? Wired by WOW & JB HiFi back in Brisbane. I'm now in the ACT. have you done a white noise test with an AA battery to see if the speakers are fine? I haven't tried that, will give it a go on my days off this week. do you smell burning from the amps? My sense of smell is very bad so no. are the amps on?? I think they are. How can I tell?
  15. My stereo stopped producing sound on my way home from work last night. Checked the fuses, all ok. Amp fuses are good. I don't know what else it could be? No loose wires. Any ideas? I am in the ACT if anyone knows of someone who can sort this problem.
  16. Anyone good with car audio? My stereo stopped producing sound on my way home from work last night. Checked the fuses, all ok. Amp fuses are good. I don't know what else it could be?

  20. The lines on my Greddy kit were a bit short for my liking. I have bolted the bracket under the fuel filter bracket. Still nice & easy to get to. Pics aren't the best, will take a better one on my day off.
  21. It wasn't too bad. The only problem I had was I thought the lines that came with the kit were a little short for my liking. However, still more accessable than what the oil filter was before. I also had to cut down a brand new Stanley 300mm adjustable spanner to fit under the intake plenum. It is now more around 120mm
  22. ^^ Likewise, I put my name down for this last year, got the email about it going into print. I am still awaiting JPNZ to email back to let me know it is ready.
