Hey everyone, Well my brother hit the flat part of a gutter with one of his volks and bent the lip of the wheel in a bit and the usual gutter rash crap. Anyways been searching all day and all the other shops in old threads have closed. (except for that one in thornleigh, which is a last resort) One shop wants to charge $350 to repair it alone, I told him to F*** off. I dont want to get the wheel sprayed just repaired. I will get it powdercoated later myself. If anyone can tell me somewhere to go it will be much appreciated. Thanks, David

Why not consider gold? I did mine trying to replicate the brembo gold, close but not bronze enough.. Its the VHT gold caliper paint. Heres a pic:

Did a few little mods to my car.. Got a carbon fiber handbrake and gear surround Did a brake upgrade and painted the calipers gold. Also matt blacked my wheels.. looks a Shyte load better then silver. and I just like this pic a friend took cause its trippy..

Threw in my Exhaust and suspension which put sum insured back up to where I wanted.. Cost an extra $100 in premium but who cares. Thanks for all the input everyone. Im finding Justcar easy to talk to which is building my confidence in them.

Ok well end of the month is insurance renewel time.. whoopie! Anyways last year car was insured full comp for 18K, Just got my letter today for renewel and they have under agreed value 16K.. Well I dont agree and considering the market is still at the 17-18K mark private sale I don't wanna pay BS excess for 16K. Especially with all the stuff done to the car since purchase. exhaust, new coilover suspension, GTR front bar. Anyways my question is, can i ring them up and get it back up to the 17500-18000 mark? I havnt added the suspension to my policy yet as I have just got it. GIO dont wanna insure grey imports. Famous want 3500 with a excess as big as justcar. cant do shannons cause im under 25.. Who else is there? Any help would be great as I hate insurance companies.. Had full comp for going on 2.5 years and still a rating 6 which doesnt seem right either. Thanks David

With that amount of k's and a less then desireable motor, you will be lucky to get 500... neo n/a motors are in the 700-1000 (from what i have seen that isnt a wreckers price of 1500) mark with less k's and better engine. IMO just take what u can use on the turbo motor and scrap the rest. Then again u might be able to part it out for a bit more. so in closing not much haha. Hope that helps you a bit man.

forza is gay cause its on the s#itbox 360, anything thats not ninja gaiden is crap on xbox. GT5 is where its at!. But Shift is fun cause its not super serious. but that screen blur when u get hit or hit a wall is fuggin annoying.. I wonder if you can turn it off on pc.
