Check to see if the spring is not making contact with the inside of the rim. If you go too low without using camber adjusters this can happen (speaking from experience here). cheers Muz

I picked up a set of Type Flex Dampers off Yahoo Auctions for my R34 GTT and found them to be too stiff for our roads so went to Fulcrum and they sorted the spring rates out for me and car is now the best it has ever been. cheers Muz

On the subject of compliance, neither myself or Karen (wife) have heard buggar all from anyone except you and Chris. Karen rang XXXXXX and he told her that the car had been in Melbourne for quite some time but as yet he hadn't heard anything from VICAT (whoever they are). This was a day after you told me that you had just seen the car in his yard and that it would be going to Melbourne soon. Couldn't lie straight in bed! I may have to take some time off work and put in a personal appearance as the bullshit flows freely over the phone. XXXXXX was supposed to ring Karen back but like JXXXXX the phone only works one way. Going to court over this is looking ever more likely. Muz

Ok All, Here's a real conversation starter. I'm sure you will all remember how Craig Lowndes was given a fine and loss of championship points for daring to open his mouth and criticise someone after the Surfers race last year. The points lost wound up costing him the championship last year (Rear -end Ric notwithstanding). Well I have just been in Darwin, where CL regained the form that has eleuded him recently but to get back on track, after the big dust up on Saturday the local paper has quoted AVESCO head honcho (or whatever it is called now) as saying that the drivers have all been instructed to speak their minds, be contreversial and there will be no penalties issued. The apparent backflip is in response to the blandness currently surrounding the fast taxi's. Russel Ingall and Murph were the first to take advantage of the new ruling. cheers Muz

Agree entirely! .... This is what motor racing is all about. And if your lucky enough to catch any TT racing on Fox then you will really see bike racing at it's absolute best. Ahhhh narrow country lanes, no run offs, and mono's over every crest! cochones as big as Elephants! cheers Muz

Being as patriotic as the most Australians, it was certainly great to see Casey get up to win again however just to temper it all with a bit of reality, the Ducatti is head and cam covers above all other bikes as far as horsepower goes and the straight line speeds certainly attest to that. On the 2nd last lap (I think) Rossi led the bunch onto the main straight by about 30 - 50 metres, Stoner just blew past him about half way down the straight and Pedrosa nearly did likewise before turn 1. Whilst the Yamaha and Rossi's undeniable talent certainly hang in well through the twisty bits, I wonder what the result would be if the bikes were swapped. I think MotoGP would be come a race for second place as Rossi would just dissappear into the distance pretty much like he used to do on the Honda. The Doctor is one class act! Cheers Muz
