  2. Bit tired today so felt buggered and form probably wasn't perfect, but still hit all my targets. Used a little bit of chalk on deads because my hands were sweating, makes a massive difference 24/11/2013 Squat: 1x8 @40 1x8 @60 3x5 @77.5 Dead: 1x5 @80 1x5 @110 1x5 @117.5 1x5 @100 Row: 1x8 @50 3x5 @57.5 Dips: 8, 6, 5
  3. Jeebus what did you do to injure it in the first place? Had an mri or anything yet? Injuries suck but it'll get better, just takes time. Good luck with it
  4. 22/11/2013 Squat: 1x8 @40 1x8 @60 3x5 @75 Mp: 1x8 @20 3x5 @32.5 1x5 @20 Pullups: 5, 2.5, 2.5 Didn't quite make it to the top on a couple reps Row: 1x8 @50 3x5 @57.5
  5. Most lcds should referesh at around 60hz(you can get faster or slower refresh rates). It wouldn't be a problem of the lcd, it would be a problem of whatever is controlling it. A few seconds is a massive difference though, there should only be a fraction of a second delay. A poorly designed stepper motor gauge can have a delay as well, its all about the hardware controlling it. Those are pretty vague answers, I can go into more depth if you need.
  6. Not unless you were in gosnells haha
  7. I'm in the same boat as you boz, I just figured it was because OHP uses smaller muscles? Saw a chick doing chin ups today, was thoroughly impressed, she did more than most guys do.
  8. 20/11/2013 Pullups: 4 Just waiting for the rack to free up Squat: 1x8 @40 1x8 @60 3x5 @72.5 Dead: 1x7 @80 1x5 @110 1x5 @115 Took chalk with me, didn't need it, gym now has a slightly newer bar with much better knurling. (I shouldn't need it at this weight anyway) Row: 1x8 @45 3x5 @55 Dips: 8,6,5 I had my nokia brick in my pocket, so does this count as weighted?
  9. Thanks man, weights should go up once I'm more consistent.
  10. Nah haha he gave me nothing for the sleeping just antibiotics for the chest infection. Once I stopped coughing all night I could sleep
  11. Ended up going to the doctor after I wasn't getting any better, was only sleeping a couple hours a night and eating one or two meals a day. Got some meds, just finished them yesterday. Still not feeling the greatest today, but gave it a shot anyway. 17/11/2013 Squat: 1x8 @20 1x8 @40 3x5 @70 Mp: 1x8 @20 2x5 @30 1x3 @30 Was getting pretty dizzy during this so had to stop Row: 1x8 @40 3x5 @50 Not to bad considering how crap I've been feeling, eating and sleeping
  12. They should change once you reach them? Or do you mean before then?
  13. This. I don't get doms either unless its after returning from a week or two off...tomorrow for example My adductors were pretty sore for the first few weeks of squatting 3x week, It went away and so did my knee bend. Might be a correlation there but given the amount you squat it would feel like doing a weeks worth in one session. Most likely will once I reach my goals, not sure how long that will be, next year sometime hopefully
  14. Fair enough, higher volume is something I might look into next year once I've hit some of my current goals
  15. I only do two or three exercises in about that time but way less volume, two unfit for that shit haha Ah fair enough, love sweet potato. Chicken and rice with some guacamole for flavour is nice too
  16. Damn that's fast for that amount of volume
  17. Ken whats the volume of your training like? I know leesh's is massive so two hours seems pretty quick haha
  18. Out of interest how long do you guys and gals spend in the gym per session?
  19. Yeah man just making a note of it, because gktech are usually pretty quick to take on customer suggestions and resolve complaints. I have no idea when it was updated
  20. Faq's taken from the gktech website directly below the product description How hard are these to install? The brackets are very easy to install. Simply bolt them to the knuckle and you're on your way. To install the larger rotors you need to trim the dust cover and depending on your calipers, you'll need to shave the bit that hits on the rotor, up to around 2mm's. You'll see which bit needs to shave based on what the rotor touches. It's a very self explanatory install and shouldn't take longer than 45 minutes.
  21. Nice haha meh nothing wrong with people that grunt. Pretty sure some of them do it for attention though
  22. Nah it didn't get me properly, just enough to make breathing difficult when doing exercise, so assuming it was some kind of infection. Didn't go to doctor and I don't have asthma or get hay fever so not much else it could be haha my professional self diagnoses
  23. I'd go for pole in driveway or board and ring bolted to house/ shed at desired height. The portable ones seem to fall over and break things in anything stronger than a light breeze
  24. Leesh, yeah I'm all good haha was having a bad day. Dan, I usually train even if I'm not feeling the best, I've found it tends to help, so it must just be a personal preference. This is the first time in around five years that I've had any kind of throat infection. I don't get sick very often, probably why I was in a bad mood haha Yep mouthwash was the first thing I reached for too.
  25. Must have just been having a bad day haha
