Hey dan I chucked the same clutch in a mates car a few months ago (except its an sr20) and I got a message the other day saying he has some kind of rattle. The setup was exactly the same as yours, but new flywheel not machined. The description he gave me sounds the same as yours, so it might be something common to Xtreme clutch's. I'm going to check it out in a couple weeks, so hopefully I can help if you haven't figured yours out yet

Yep progressing slowly but surely, I should really be stronger for my weight and height. I'm only doing 3x5, I've just started tracking my warmups to help keep better track of progress. Not really following any real weight pattern for warmups, it just varies depending how I feel on the day. I do between 500 and 1000 meters on the rowing machine before weights as well

Had a shit session today, squats were nice and easy for once though 08/09/2013 Squat: 1x8 bar 1x8 @20 1x5 @40 3x5 @55 Bench: 1x8 bar 1x8 @20 1x5 @40 1x5 @50 Shoulder was giving me a hard time, so I'll drop bench again for a while. Dead: 1x8 @40 1x8 @80 1x5 @115 1x8 @90 Pullups: 1x5

Lower reps heavier weight an option? Someone more experienced will chime in soon no doubt
-
Eat more? haha Is that 10 reps per set or just total?

05/09/2013 Gave squats a crack tonight, hip is still a bit funny so weight hasn't gone up. Squat: 1x8 bar 1x8 @20 1x8 @40 3x5 @50 Mp: 1x8 bar 1x8 @20 4x5 @30 1x5 @35 Row: 1x8 @20 1x8 @40 3x5 @65 1x5 @70 Some guy told me my back was starting to round so I'll drop the weight for next session and concentrate on form. 1x8 @40 Pullups: 1x5 1x2 10 negatives
-
Managed to do 5 a short break then 2 more, then 10 negatives as per Revs suggestion. Whats the purpose behind negs? It didn't particularly feel like I was doing anything. Birds, I thought anything other than palms facing away from the body would be considered a chin?

Pullups are how batman can climb the side of buildings though dan I'm going to the gym soon, going to aim for 6, got 4 last time I think.

Question for the more knowledgeable here. My knees stay behind my toes at a regular squat depth (just below parallel), the deeper I go the more my knees track forwards until they go over at full depth. Is this a problem in relation to form/flexibility? Or is this normal body mechanics? Will this become a problem later?

Cheers, haven't really been anywhere just lazy haha 01/09/2013 Rev was semi right with his comments about my dead form probably being wrong, except my hips were too high not low. Don't know if it was dropping my hips a bit that helped or if it was that I was wiping the bar down with paper like birds suggested, either way no problem with grip this week. Lunges: Lots 50kg Dead: 1x8 @80 1x5 @110 1x3 @120 1x8 @80 Bench: 1x8 bar 1x8 @20 3x5 @45 1x8 bar Pullups: 4 and a half haha

Been pretty slack lately, I'd like to say it's beacuase I'm studying, but it's not I'm just lazy haha May as well chuck up some starter goals for myself. When I get to them I'll change them. I'd like to get body weight reps (around 100kg) of Row, Mp and Bench 20 pullups, more if possible 150 squat 200 dead Anyway, todays workout I'll start putting in warmups now (when I remember them) aswell so I can keep better track of whether I'm progressing 30/08/2013 Lunges: Lots 45kg Row: 1x8 @40 2x5 @ 60 3x5 @ 65 Mp: 1x8 bar 1x8 @20 3x5 @30 2 reps 35

Quick Question To Waste Your Time
r31slpr replied to r31slpr's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Thought so haha my bad Mods can delete this if they want -
Not interested in using straps, like I said I'll get a form video when I can. Probably next week
-
I will haha I'll give all those suggestions a shot, see what works and go from there
-
I'm fairly confident my form is decent, I'll chuck up a video when I can get one and you can critique it if you'd like. I'd like to stay overhand as long as I can, but I'm slightly disadvantaged not being able to use chalk, also I sweat f**kin heaps haha
-
Yeah I've heard about pulling a muscle using that grip, that's why I didn't try today. Will definitely give it a shot next time. That's a brilliant idea about the paper, I'll give that a shot too thanks
-
I guess I am in a way, I think it was more slippery bar caused by sweat than my grip though. If I could use chalk I have no doubt it would be fine. I had to wipe the bar down after each set haha Changing grip was my first thought, but I've never done mixed, so I'll give it a shot next time when I'm warming up to see how it feels
-
Overhand grip, want to find limits of this before I have to switch to mixed. Gay gym so no chalk allowed as far as I know
-
I have a long shot for you haha I noticed in the install instructions it says any air bubbles will cause incorrect readings. Any chance you've got an air bubble in there giving inconsistencies haha?
-
Haven't been doing much since my last update, just accessory/ rehab work. Still can't squat properly at the moment, so haven't been doing them. Been doing lunges instead and they suck haha 23/08/2013 Did bench for the first time today, shoulder didn't like it at first so I changed my style and it was fine. Bench: 3x5 @ 40 + lots of bar reps to get form right Row: 3x5 @ 60 Dead: 2 reps @ 120 grip was failing 5 reps @ 100 holding at the top till grip started giving + more reps at lower weights for form
-
I cant seem to find any datasheet for it, what ecu are you using? Is there any analog inputs left you can use? You might be better off trying GTSboy's suggestion to find the right temp
-
Whats the part number for the sensor? do you have a data sheet? It will be easier to determine which reading is correct from that
-
Was that 200 for reps or a single? Good job either way
