  1. "Excessive speed is too often a contributing factor in serious and fatal crashes on WA roads." What that article doesn't say is that alcohol is more often than not the factor leading to the excessive speed and subsequently a fatal crash or a fatality when the mow down some pedestrian. Just out of interest do the new radars flash you like the old cameras?
  2. At carpark speeds you may notice it's slightly heavier, but thats what power steering is for. Highway speeds you won't notice a difference. He probably tried to sell you the 235's beacause they're cheaper for him to buy, which means more profit when selling. I'm guessing 235/40/18 to keep close to the same rolling diameter as the rear ?
  3. should be stamped on the filter near the bolt hole
  4. Make sure you have decent pads aswell and you may aswell flush the brake fluid at the same time
  5. At a guess i'd say so, only difference should be the abs sensor. maybe someone else can confirm. Got rattle gun? or bigger breaker bar
  6. Probably best to get the shop to do it if you dont have much of an idea. Most auto parts stores will be able to get the parts, if they say its too hard, they're to lazy
  7. cypher or xspeed, both know their way around imports very well
  8. Speaking to a chick i know the other day, me:" your car will need a service in another 5k". her "Really? i bought a new car so i wouldnt have to do that". me 'facepalm'. The amount of shit cars getting around in Wa is ridiculous, yet cops still target imports, most of which are well looked after, rather then the shitbox eb that just drove past with rust everywhere bald tyres and the exhaust falling off.
  9. will be a bit of stretch but nothing to major, should be alright
  10. how often are you changing them? if its often maybe try a copper plug like a bpr6es. like tweaky said, don't go hotter
  11. probably legal for the most part of the body, but not the crumple zones because making them stronger will reduce their effectivness
  12. no worries, fair enough then. nah i dont know any mechanics in sydney, im in wa. what types of pads have you tried? have you checked your seals on the pistons in the caliper? its possible one of the pistons is sticking
  13. when you replace your pads do you have your rotors machined? this could be causing the squealing. are your guide pins lubed? if you've tried this stuff, and want new pads and rotors just for street driving grab some dba rotors, bendix gct pads, a can of that 'disk brake quiet' stuff that you spray on the back of your pads and lube your guide pins. should solve it
  14. wouldnt this setup still have the same effect if used without the pcv and line? also what do you have in the catch can to stop steel wool fibres from being sucked up?
  15. gday just after the length of rb26 runners from manifold to flange including throttle body? and probably the length from manifold to throttle body, thickness of tb and length from tb to flange. and diameters, id & od too please cheers
  16. ok thanks mate, another question, whats the easiest way to get it off?
  17. just a quick question because i've never done this before, when i remove the oil pressure sender from my rb30 will oil come gushing out? im puttin a different sender in for an aftermarket guage thanks
