  1. Lj, The photos show me some thing but i need to see the car ? Perhaps wetsanding might get those defects out , but i also need to do PTG ( Paint Thickness Gauge ) measure the paint film build . Send me a PM please . Regards Mario
  2. One whole day to do this job ! Sometimes two ! If i do ever come to NSW i will need a 50% deposit before i even move from Melbourne ! Regards Mario
  3. That's why Duncan, Nissan Australia is trying to establish the Infinity Luxury Brand again ! Big Joke As everybody that has posted on this thread, Nissan is really shooting blanks ,if they would get there heads out of there arses and import this GTR or other cars that are worth importing not that stupid Maxima !!!! Who are they kidding ! And these threats , that's just childish behavior ! Regards Mario
  4. Hey Guys, Just got the news today ! Got another New GTR 35 to polish in six to nine weeks time ! Not sure if it's going to be another Jet Black or a Titanium Metallic ! I will keep you all posted Regards Mario
  5. I am based in Melbourne (SE Suburbs ) but i do travel even interstate ! I will be in NSW ( Sydney ) on August 31st ! I have a meeting and a job booked for that month ,going into September ! Without seeing your car i can only give you an estimate from $ 400 upwards ! That's just for the paint ( Paint Correction for the removal of scratches and swirl marks and other paint defects ! These jobs normally take a whole day but there are times when they can take two days ! What colour is your car ? Is it a metallic colour or solid colour ? So i will be in Sydney end of August ! PM if you are interested ! Or call me on my mobile 0419 881 439 Regards Mario
  6. Terry ! Hands were sore as a matter of fact ! I did use a clay bar because paint didn't feel that smooth, i used the new Flex XC 3401 VRG DA with Lake Country Orange 6.5" Buffing Pads . The machine was used at full speed at all times ! Finished off with Wurth Paint Sealant . Regards Mario
  7. That's until all these car manufactures realize that they are getting there arses kicked by GTR 35 and they will certainly come up with a more powerful version of there own ! Regards Mario
  8. Daniel, even though you are using a forced rotation machine, you're using Final Finish, how much clear do you think you'll be removing?? Interest to hear your thoughts re: 106FF choice for BOTH polishing stages? And given the car is jet black, why not finish on CCS Black One thing CCS Black does not cut like CCS white and when you are left with fine blooming on the paint ( very fine haze)Black CCS will not correct that problem ! Don't be fooled by less power of a Flex forced rotation machine , it will do some serious damage like a rotary, i have tested this machine for a solid month before i committed myself to putting my money down . And to further prove my point here is the full review i wrote on the Flex http://www.detailparadise.com.au/modules.p...opic&t=2912 Enjoy ! Regards Mario
  9. Ok guy's, I've been extremely busy so that's why i am responding to you now ! I am also getting ready for next months trip to Sydney, jobs, meetings etc.... The GTR 35 was clayed down extensively and no i didn't take any PTG reading's because i thought that the PO 106 FF would not remove enough paint to warrant a reading . With the paint correction i did i probably removed less than one micron . I would have however taken PTG readings had i used Menzerna Power gloss, or PO 85 RD 3.01 with a wool pad or similar combination , any other questions ? Paint technology is changing so rapidly that i have always kept up to date with the latest Technology and this is just the beginning ! I have been testing new polishing compounds which use nanotechnology ( Not Sonax, or Menzerna ) . Sorry, i can't disclose the product's name at this stage until it's released to the Australian market and further testings are done plus . That's just a taste of things to come so be patience i will keep you informed ! Regards Mario
  10. I know where it is ? It's in Morrabbin right ? Regards Mario
  11. Thanks Adam , Regards Mario
  12. Daniel, What defects are you referring to ? 95% of the scratches where removed ! I didn't want to polish any further because the paint is so thin on these cars it's not a MB or BMW where you have a healthy amount of paint ! Plus try polishing Jet Black Paint without leaving swirl marks ? I used Menzerna PO 106 FF on 6.5" Lake Country Orange Buffing Pad and followed with CCS white . Sealed with Wurth Gloss Sealing Compound ! It's alright to criticize but how experienced are you ? Would you have done any better ? Regards Mario
  13. Thanks Matt, Regards Mario
  14. Thanks Chris Regards Mario
