hey everyone just wondering if anyone ever made a large ugly sun viser, or a venetian for the rear of an mr30 sedan! just about to fit a roll cage but wanna keep the sleeper effect nothing worse than a roll cage to give the game away! Regards.

hey mate i had the same problem in mine, couldnt fix it for the life of me.. replaced the o2 sensor, coils and plugs, nothing fixed it then i had the motor out of the car for about 3 weeks when i but it back in the problem was gone!! ended up the ecu was playing silly buggers with me, thats where i would start. thanks Andrew ill have a look into it.. the rear are a koni coilover i dont think they are an insert ill have a look tonight and let you know tomorrow.

they are internal adjustment, i didnt know you could get a koni style coilover for the front.. does anyone else make a coilover for the front?

Hi guys whats the best suspension you can put into the front of a mr30, i currently have lowered springs and it looks like pedders shocks, i have adjustable konis in the rear, but want somthing adjustable in the front, does anyone know if anyone makes them and who to get them through. Cheers Alan.

yeah probly, i have a mr30 sedan with a RB25det and that was piss easy to engineer in ACT

yeah i think so! i picked up an 84 mr30 hatch a few weeks ago with a Vg30 turbo motor and matching 5 speed, 4 pot Rx7 front brakes, and the rear end has been modified and runs a Z32 diff for cheap, only got it cause i have a sedan and wanted it for the brakes and diff setup. you might be able to rego it if it was only NA

I have never been to one would love to meet some of the guys from this forum. i am stripping my 30 back in the next month for a respary and the interior is going to my mate at the same time for a full retriim might be a good chance to get it out for a drive, im in ACT do many other people travel for it or is it mainly melb and adelade people?

I will have have it completly striped by the end of the weekend will take pics as i go.. its a sliver hatch was apprentlly used as a drift car? judging by some of the enngeering work that has gone into it i would say it was a backyard job ill post a pics over the weekend, ecpescially of the engine mounts before i take the motor out they are good for a laugh!! only got it cause it was ment to have an open wheel R200 long nose but ill take the LSD short nose conversion if i have too!! the only thing i think i will have to change is the tail shaft, i run a sedan with an RB25DET and matching gearbox and this had a VG30 and VG 5speed, seeming as its a car nothing ever goes smoothly! but im happy to get a new shaft made. ill take some pics of hatch and ill post some pics of my sedan while im at it.. Hey everyone a mate put me into an MR30 hatch last weekend i was going to buy for spare parts..anyway i got a mate to go pick it up through the week and finally has a look at it last night. and am very happy with parting with $650 cash it came with 2 VG30 turbo motors minus turbos, a wolf ECU, The rear end has been modifyed and now runs a Z32 LSD diff and drive shafts that were all rebuilt before selling it has RX7 calipers and larger slotted discs, as i am in the middle of a complete rebuild on my MR30 sedan i think there parts will be very handy my brother is taking the VGs and we are going to put them in he's old hilux!! do many people run a short nose diffs in there R30s?

yeah thanks. all the rubbers are in good nic.. but have done a few complete rebuilds before and have replaced all the rubbers they didnt cost a lot ( but have never done an old jap car before either!!) I think it will be a case of take the old ones out as carefully as possiable! Thanks Alan

Does anyone know where i could get a complete rubber kit for an MR30 sedan, without trying to find a kit from japan? doing a bare matal respray and wanna replace the rubbers while im at it. Cheers Alan
