Hey all, Im getting an alarm put in soon, and I've asked them to hook up the electric windows and sunroof but they say the sunroof can't be done. It's for an r32. Does anyone here have their sunroof close when they arm their alarm? I don't get why it can't be done seeing as the windows are capable of it.

Bringing up an old thread, as it just saved my ass quite a few dollars! Everything is spot on... the switch was the cause of one of my headlights being out. Damn clowns at seaway are screwing me around. 2 days in a row they said the car would be delivered to my house and both days nothing. Really ruins my weekend as I work over 10hrs + a day during week days and can't play around with it IF it arrives Monday. I don't even know where this car is. Truck driver went to pick it up yesterday (for the second time) at lunch time, I get home from work and mum says no car here sonny!!!!! Can't get in touch with anyone there at seaway too. Sooooooooo angry at them right now, they've just left me hangin. :usuck: Edit: 4 days later it has arrived

Yea if they pull that "go through raws" crap then I'd still be screwed, as it's a locally delivered model. There would be A LOT of angry people if they make anyone that has payed before 1st of Jan 2005 go through the new impending laws. Is it even legal for them to apply these rules to people that have purchased these 90 models before 2005? Sure they can use scare tactics and ask ppl not to buy them, but how can a new law apply to people that went about their purchases through the old law? If they're worried about their workload now, imagine when they're fighting legal battles/complaints/counter-complaints with hundreds of buyers.

I'd say go for a 15yr old modified import. I think if you want a newish car it can only be brought in if you hold a CAMS license. Don't hold me on that though, I don't pay attention to detail :wassup:

Don't you have to show them your telegraph-transfer papers as proof? Or is it like you said, with the owner only declaring whatever they want? Sorta like when you transfer a car into your name here locally in Australia and you put market value price on the forms?

Ok this may be a stupid question cos I don't know a lot about dyno tunning but i'll ask anyway... When it's said you need an adjustable computer, does this include re-mapping the stock ecu? Would you need dyno tunning at the same time of the re-map? Or do you just tell the person that is re-mapping what your mods are and that is enough?

I know here in Melbourne, if the tyres are road worthy then they are legal under the 15yr rule.

I think the Coles carpark gets more attention, because the all the bus stops are in between Coles and the carpark. You always see deros waiting for buses and they get a front row seat watching all the cars come in. They probably don't even catch buses, but use it for window shopping and to look inconspicuous. Theres HEAPS better places to park than that crappy location. :dump:
