  1. how do you remove RB25DE injectors? does the top half of the plenum need to come off? or is there a simpler way cause it looks f**ked as cheers
  2. Haha yeah I live like 4 streets from there. If only it said R31!!
  3. Get a Nistune daughter board installed into the factory ECU. $1000 for install and dyno tune. Just as good as a Power FC - only downfall is no hand controller. MRC Dynos at Castle Hill, Sydney. Call Mark.
  4. Thanks dude! She's my baby. Ask and you shall receive! She could look better in these pics - needs a polish. Will take some mad ones with an SLR in a few days.
  5. SSS Automotive in Girraween in Sydney. Just bought my RB25DE from them a month or so ago with ECU, loom, complete engine + 30 days warranty from the time the engine is started for $1200. Good blokes.
  6. Not really sure what kinda logo you were after so just had a play around with some things as I was bored.. Kinda invented a new typeface the other week for my course so I thought I'd see how this would go, drew up the word TORQUE with it.. what do you think? Dunno what kinda style logo you're after.. If you like that one I can keep going with it. It's just the black and white outline at the moment - it will obviously look better with more effort put into it.
  7. Haha nah nah just my initials somewhere or signing in the corner of it, or "logo designed by blahdy blah" lol
  8. Hey dude.. I'm bored as f**k so I'll give something a go. I'm studying Graphic Design at the moment and we make a lot of logos so it'll be me good anyway. One condition though - if you choose mine, I get props on the website! Haha I'll whack it up when I'm done.
  9. If you're not sure it's the exhaust then none of us can tell you if it's fine to drive around. Get your hands dirty, go see what it is yourself. Cars are fun to work on, don't pay someone else to do it!
  10. To be perfectly honest I do some stupid things (burnouts, drifting) on the street too, but come on dude there's a time and place! Even if you walk through the city you see the insane amount of cops absolutely everywhere pulling over Uleh in his Pulsar with his 20 inch chromies and 9 inch cannon dragging along the road. They're absolutely everywhere. City is the one place I would definitely not go drifting/do burnouts. There are some cool corners though...
  11. As long as your not running massive amounts of timing it will be fine. And yeah higher octane fuel (eg 98) is recommended to stop the engine from pinging if you're running boost.
  12. Bayside blue hands down. R34 GTR omg mmm...
  13. As the title states. I need an RB25DE (non turbo) Series 1 ECU. I am located in Carlingford/North Rocks, Sydney. If you can help please reply or shoot me a PM! Or you can call me on 0423 696 517. Cheers.
  14. If it's a 25DE then you can use the hose that goes from the top of the throttle body to the stupid stock catch can thing and join it straight up to the vacuum gauge, not T-piecing required. That's what I did on my 33 RB25DE.
  15. Do it for sure man, would be f**king insane in an S13. But yeah as it's been said, RB series engines have cast iron blocks as opposed to the alloy blocks on S13s, so you'd be throwing a lot more weight in. That being said, you'd be throwing in a lot more power too Would be a VERY fun car. When you get off your Ps you can just strap a turbo to the side of the engine too - high compression turbo engines for the win! I have an RB25DE in my R31 Skyline at the moment and it's getting turboed in about 2 months. High compression RB series engines take boost with a smile on their face. There are several members in the R31 Skyline Club that are running RB30E+Ts (RB30s with a turbo just strapped to it, still high compression) and blowing 14psi through them without a problem in the world. A person I know is also running a high flowed VL turbo on an RB25DE and running 10psi and he is seeing 200rwkws. The response of an NA engine with the power of a turbo - what more could you need!
  16. Which maccas is this at?!
  17. Geez so much hate... It's your car man, if you like how it turned out then f**k what the rest of the people here think. I like it, not my idea of PERFECT but it's very different, at least you're not the same as every other man and his dog.
  18. EDIT: I found out it will fit an R31 BUMP! IM AFTER A STOCK RB25DE EXHAUST MANIFOLD! SOMEONE MUST HAVE ONE TO GET RID OF!
  19. Sorry mate after a non turbo. P plate restrictions..
  20. As title states. Would also like to know, if anyone knows, would this fit in an R31? Not neccessarily line up with the cat, but clear the firewall etc, and I can get it modified to line up.
  21. Hey man have you checked out the front mount intercooler kits on eBay? They bolt straight up to R33s. You can buy just the piping kit which comes with 3 inch pipes and all silcone joins and steel clamps and then you can just buy a good quality intercooler from somewhere else, or even the eBay ones aren't too bad as my mate is running one of these on his RB20DET and it seems to do the job perfectly. The piping kits are also fairly cheap - a LOT cheaper than getting it done at an exhaust/intercooler shop. EDIT: Just had a quick browse on eBay and found this, could be just what you're after. A GReddy intercooler kit (piping and intercooler) to fit an R33 Skyline. $580 Buy It Now. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Trust-GReddy-Spec-M...1QQcmdZViewItem
  22. Hey guys I'm looking to buy an RB25DE (non turbo) complete engine to fit into my R31 as I blew up my RB30. Hope someone can help, cheers.
