The cradle I have is a 99 Model V-spec. Would a mechianical LSD fit? Might go drop the V-spec option. -
R34 V-spec Diff Wont Fit My Cradle. Help!
godsmind replied to godsmind's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Hum, Not sure if there is suppose to be a spacer for it. I don't acually have a skyline, I'm trying to fit the cradle into the S15. Brought the GTR cradle, uprights and two shafts which originally belong to a V spec R34. I've brought the V-spec 2 diff back then so I asked him to remove the original v-spec diff out. After 1 month of gathering parts, I tried to fit the diff in and realised they don't fit. Diff cant fully bolt onto the cradle and one side has 10-15mm gap between the diff and shaft!....:S Don't know what to do. I suppose I can grind the cradle Bed and make up a spacer for the shaft (I work in a manufacturing factory as process engineer, can get all these parts made easy). But I wonder if they are differences betwen V-spec 1 and V-spec 2..... -

Run Fuel Pump Without The Fpcm On Rb26
godsmind replied to godsmind's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Thanks guys:) -
Hi All. I am planning to run the fuel pump without the FPCM(fuel pump controm module) on R34 GTR, just Battery-Relay-Fuel pump. Will the ECU goes crazy? or will run just fine. Need some advise thanks

Sweet, now you have somewhere to start with:). For myself, I will start off with a R34 V spec ECU first, just to get it going as I still don't know what the computer with different inputs. I am sort of thinking putting a PLC between the ECU and the solenoid; that way I have full control of the 4WD system by changing the parameters in the PLC, which will act like an aftermarket engine ecu; but that is long way fancy plan. I have brought a R33 V spec hydrualic pack cheap and taking the risk that it will work with the R34 ecu (R34 Vspec one is quite expansive). The only thing might be different between the two would be the solenoid coil energizing current. Other than that I am sure the hydraulic circuit would be identical. I haven't got it yet, once i have it, All i have to do is to check the Ohm reading on the solenoid against the ohm specification on R34 sup manual. If they match, I will be laughing!! What are you putting into your rear sub frame? putting the whole GTR frame in seems to be a bit of too much work. My plan was to swap both front and rear. I know front you cant get away from, not sure there is a short cut with the rear.

Hum..The pump is not controlled by the solenoid. Go back to point 1, The pump is controlled by the an eletrical relay which stop starts the pump. If you have a look at the hydraulic diagram, the pressure between the pump, accumulator and entrance of soenoid are at the same level. Once the accumulator's pressure (Pressure switch in here) had dropped to certain level, the pump will start again in order to bring the pressure up to the desired level. On the otherhand, As you written, The amount of current running through the solenoid determines the amount of presure being released to the tranfer case. BUT THE SOLENOID WONT STOP THE PUMP as the pump is controlled by the pressure switch. Is it clear now?

R34 Gtr Diff Into R32?
godsmind replied to godsmind's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Fitting a 6 speed getrag... need the ratio off the R34. got the R34 block, so the front side is sorted. Need to know if an R34 diff will fit straight in, otherwise Might have to get the whole rear frame from 34>.<
