I think a loud exhaust & BOV just shows your IQ level if you live in Melbourne.. either that or you like taking it up the arse alot. Surely its also alot harder to pick up bimbo chicks ("Omg its like SOOO loud, I'm just like soooo horny right now!") when your car is off the road.. and sporting a nice yellow sticker on the windscreen. Why advertise? You deserve a canary if you're that stupid. Got no sympathy for people who are asking for it. Others that only mod their cars to prolong the life of their turbo/engine etc.. I don't agree with the heavy restrictions and frequent defects.. when they get rid of all the rustbuckets on the road then I couldn't say anything about it.. the law is the law, unless you get off your arse and try to change it (or get an eng cert), what can you do? I can't even legally put a plumback BOV on my 180 or a FMIC on the r32... I do get the shi*s frequently about such issues. The cops don't make the rules anyway, they only enforce them. Some more than others, but you can't group them into one category although they ARE commodore drivers... there are good cops around. If you do get bullied by a cop however you should stand up for yourself and make a complaint, if its not resolved in your mind, you can always go higher up in the chain. It will do alot more than sitting on your arse in front of a monitor whinging to a bunch of people you don't know. I know caus I've done my fair share. ~hellrazorette

Agreed with predator, I wouldn't buy a 32 for any less than 12k AT CHEAPEST... for a decent 32 I'd be expecting more like $14/15k for an alright 92 gtst, otherwise its probably got too many problems and you'll end up spending more on maintenance.. ~hellrazorette

My 180SX has been converted to a manual before import.. I bought it a couple of months ago and I've been getting around the 300k mark per 30odd L of Ultimate... a friend told me his 180 used to do about 400/500k's per tank.. he also suggested that if it has the auto diff in it still, its probably why its guzzling fuel.. is that right? If I was to put a manual diff in it, will it have better fuel consumption or am I wasting my time? I'm not into roasting the car/siK burnouts etc.... so its nothing to do with that Any info/help appreciated Cheers ~hellrazorette/Kaz

Actually I bought my car through pro_gtr .. I'm not sure if he is still importing but he sold me an *immaculate* 180.. you wouldn't believe the condition its in. Bought privately in Japan not at an auction.. had no real problems with it since purchase.. very happy Ask him if hes still importing, he might be able to get you a really nice 32. ~hellrazorette

definately stay away from power rd car sales.. both myself and 46n2 tried to enquire about cars there and got very poor responses.. upon asking about 'features of the car'.. we were told such things as.. "its silver".......... "rigggght, manual or auto, how many k's??".... "I dunno if its manual.... I dunno how many k's Ill have to ring you back.. ".. I don't think he really wants to sell cars and he certainly doesn't seem to know much about the ones he's selling... we had to force the above responses out of him as it was.. no callbacks either, very dodgy/shit seller. ~hellrazorette

I was under the impression that if you need a 3rd point you can just buy it separately and add it to the circuit. For the r32 it cost about $80 to get an extra point put in when a vision alarm was installed.. apparently putting a 3rd point in skylines is a real fk-around. ~hellrazorette

Those Black Widow BW10000 alarms are on the NRMA approved alarm list... and I believe you can get a 3rd point for a bit of extra money.. but are they compatible with turbo timers? Can't find anything to say that they are.. or are most alarms compatible... I'm really better with mechanical shite not electrics. Strathfield Car Radios sell those alarms for like.. $300-350 plus siren $50-100.. are they really no good? Any info is appreciated ~hellrazorette

we got ours from onautos.com.au (cheltenham VIC) about 6 months ago, BNIB for $560, price may have dropped since then. We looked everywhere and thats the cheapest price we got. You can get them from the US for cheaper (Esp with the state of the US dollar atm), however its better to get one from AUS for warranty purposes. ~hellrazorette
