  1. JLNewton - was that you that passed me as I turned off for Mt Cootha last night ? (Inbound)
  2. New Clutch is in w- 2800lb pressure plate. I think the plate is a Daikin, and the cover was put together by the store. Got it put in @ Direct Clutch in Albion - great to deal with.
  3. I used to live in Townsville too, thn found my home in Brissy The silver 32 GTR is one of my mates up North. That thing is a f**kin' beast. I think it ran 11.99 or something close at the drags one night Michael
  4. Phone AllJap here in Brissy. They ship Nationally. Their number is (07) 3865-2221 46n2
  5. I'm Michael, 21Y/O and poor because of skyline payments. I drive a white 32 GTST. Engine is Stock bar pod filter, bit of suspension work though I toot and wave at other lines...don't always get a response. Bryanlee, were you cruising around the city last Friday night? I was with a friend in his VK commonwhore (I was friends with him before he bought it). I think we pulled up next to you near city rowers? Pretty car but if it was you it would mean that the paintwork was fixed up (ie - no bog)?
  6. Thanks dood. I just skim sometimes, and so miss a bit. The prices I got were from Gavin Woods, but I'll dig and see what's available. I don't really understand the difference between clutches, compounds etc, so I'll end up getting taken for a ride
  7. I was quoted $572 fot a more stanhdard H.Duty Daikin, and $644 for an uber h.duty Daikin (SKR) that would be more suitable for my use...These prices are WAY over what you guys are posting. Why?
  8. Mine Fried on Tuesday...Speak to Gavin Woods. He knows his stuff. Prices seem reasonable for Clutches. He has a couple of different options. Mine will cost me about 900ish installed for a Daikin (his recommendation)... Call 07 5529 2313 As soon as I come up with the cash I'll be going in to get it fixed... Michael
  9. Your pads could just be glazed. Do a search in a thread started by DBA steve a while ago called "Disc Rotors". The fix was something like pulling your pads out and giving them a light sand back with emery paper. Check out the thread for more detailed (and more importantly) accurate info 46n2
  10. Sorry to hear it Bryanlee38. Try and turn the negative into a positive ... bog the other door shut, smooth it back, respray, take out the windows, and cruise around with shotguns dukes of Hazzard style! Sucks to see there are so many wankers out there with nothing better to do than vandalise what they can't afford themselves 46n2
  11. I couldn't agree more. If you get the car first, and decide to get an apartment later - let's face facts - you won't want to get rid of the car! that's the mistake I made. It's smarter to get rich first, and then get the car. You'll be able to buy it with pocket-change
  12. Have a look @ this thread if the link works: Still Missing - HELP http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...highlight=plugs
  13. I took the Raybrig NSX out on Wet SSR5 last night...that was a lot of fun. give it a go, I can't remember how I set it up. But it's got a lot of go and it doesn't spike as badly as the Calsonic. Power delivery is very smooth, and so very easy to control with the arse out
  14. Hey dude, Get a quote first to have them rebuilt if they're screwed. Probably cheaper than replacing them. Aftermarket shocks aren't exactly cheap... Just my 2 cents with a free bump
  15. the ignition modules are about $700 from Nissan brand new. If it is the problem, get a tested one from a jap wrecker. AllJap Spares in Brisbane have them for about $100.
  16. It could be a number of things...I went through a long and painful test process with my 32's misfire. I ended up taking it to a mechanic who had the software to Datastream the ECU, and then they could tell me exactly what was wrong. Try contacting Nissan Service - word of mouth tells me that only Nissan, and very few workshops have this software, but for the pain you'll save - it's worth it. It only cost me about $100 to datastream my 32. Michael
  17. The Calsonic is f**king insane to drift. Play with the settings and away you go. But it does have a tendency to uber-oversteer - still lots of fun. I think it'd be easier with the steering wheel setup so it's not always full lock left or right
  18. This is what I used to torque my rb20's head down after I had it off... Head is torqued down in 5 stages. 1. 22ftlbs 2. 72ftlbs 3. slacken off 4. 22ftlbs 5. 75ftlbs or 90o Engine torque setting Main bearing torque 40ft/lbs Big end bearings..... also 40ft/lbs Hope it helps, Michael
  19. Sorry Lads - sold on the weekend for $500 Michael
  20. Sounds fine turboalfa...Give Shane a call on 0438 255 223 and tee up a time Cheers, Michael
  21. Thanks heaps for the replies all I'll make some phone calls this week and get some quotes Michael
  22. My 2c, I had my injectors professionally cleaned when we were troubleshooting a missfire. Definitely could feel the difference after cleaning. Improved economy, more of the throw-ya-back-in-your-seat feel . I haven't used the off the shelf products, so I can't really comment on them. The injectors in an RB20 are held in using thin wire clips (U-shaped). Pull the clip off and the plug comes straight off. To put them back on, put the plug on first and then push the clip into place. Michael
  23. Turboalfa: Can't find the offset from ringing around. Where can the rims be taken to have the offset measured??? Michael
