  6. yeah whatever works easiest the wire in the hose to push it through is a godsend though. i spent a while trying without wire before it finally dawned on me.
  7. i can actually picture myself doing that.
  8. Great tutorial mate With the boost gauges i've installed i've found it easier to push the line though the firewall from inside the cabin. (step 4) Get a coat hanger cut it and straighten it out. Slide the hose over the coat hanger (so now it's solid), and push it through the hole from inside the cabin. Keep up the good work
  9. looks good. I'm interested in one one these kits when you have them ready

    32 eyelids

Well guys, the first pair from the moulds came out last week, and the 2nd set should be out mid-week the set to come out of the moulds this week is thicker than the 1st, and they will be ready for painting and fitting. From looking at the older headlights (~89 models) the brackets on the headlights will need to be different, so I will be making a few (two at this stage - unless i hear of more types) different brackets depending on which type of lights you guys have I'll post up pics of the 2 different types of headlights (for the different brackets) sometime this week so you can let me know whih type you have, and I'll put a post up in the for sale section with all details to get things moving the wait is finally over Cheers, Michael

if you get a brekkie going we'll be there Geoff
  12. i've just had the same problem fixed up. I thought it was shot subframe bushes, but it turns out it was the rear crossmember bush (completely dead). Pineapples went in and the subframe is now locked tight - all good

  14. All you need to do is a google search with the engine type and the keywords ECU Pinout (e.g. "RB20DET ECU Pinout"). The pinout diagrams will have a description with them, and in that description you will see O2 Sensor
  15. i think it's pin 29...

  21. to calibrate the speed you need to get it into speed mode (use the top L/H button until it shows kph), and then press the Bottom-R/H Button which will put it into calibration mode (40kph will be flashing at this point). Bring the car up to 40kph, and press the bottom R/H Button again, and the speed is calibrated. Calibrating the tach function is the same process but in the tach screen (obviously ). press the Bottom R/H button and 2000rpm will flash. Rev the engine and hold the revs at 2000rpm, then press the Bottom R/H button again. But from the sounds of it with the engine cutting out while the timer counts, something else may be wrong
  22. have you calibrated the speed and revs on the timer? as for the engine shutting off. I'd check the timer's connection to the ignition wiring.
  23. woohoo the post preview is back already nice work lads
