  1. ah k fair enough its what I thought just sometimes the odd chance I know some car manufactors on the last model they throw all the parts that were left over on the latest model. But in saying that a 93 onwards would be a better buy than a earlier one.
  2. yeah im aware as looking underneith for rust around windows under wheel arches etc. Also I have a good understanding of general wear and tear and most of the time the kms arnt correct, more just after technical stuff about the early ones and the ones built after 93. I know the 93 > had fixed the oil pump, but does it run the N1 pump, same just refined. I know that they had oil drain back problems, but was it fixed in the later models? Mainly after the weaknesses and strong points of the 2 if it makes sense, obviously any car I look at im going to get up on the hoist and poke things to see the struture side of things. A few years ago I did look at a couple but for the money I was going to spend it wasnt worth it as I have never seen so much bog and bad welds on a car, so now Im prepared to spend a bit more so I am doing my homework again so I make the right decision.
  3. Hey guys been a while since ive posted but finally going to start looking for a gtr, been a bit out of it for a while, but want to know the dos and donts on buying a 32 gtr. If i recall, the early ones had oil starvation problems, and later ones they fixed it? Also I have a N1 oil pump off a 32 lying around, were these fitted to the later ones or only the N1's. Also feel free to throw in some other tips on the weaknesses and pros and cons of the early ones and later ones. Cheers.
  4. i copt it with mine there is nothing u can do i got a angle grinder and grinded it off. go to wreckers and get one off a vl because the vl pulllys have threads in there so u can use some sort of a puller.
  5. how do you know if its fuel prob. more info man if it isnt revin or strugglin to rev over 2k then most likly afm.

    spotted a clean white 32 gtr on franskton freeway and followed me up to boundary road looked clean man. I was in the red 31
  10. swapped engine due to blown motor no comp and new motor came with loom. just got the problem of no spark/injector pulse.

  12. hey guys got a quick question done a engine swap on a 94 gtr (r32) and she isnt starting. She has fuel pressure but no injector pulse and spark and she has constant power at the cas plug. what would be some things to look for as it is drivin me insane. cheers julz.

  14. ive seen standerd 32 gtr turbos let go at 22psi lol.
  15. hows the idle speed motor give that a clean? also check for vacume leaks as in vacume hoses on inlet manfold, boost controller etc etc.
