  1. many thanks, I already ordered the SPLITFIRE COIL PACKS and we are going to check well spark gap and the earths as well. is better to use resistor type spark plugs or is does not make a difference ? Which spark plug do you use on your 1000HP RB26 ? I never try to make a burnout on the R33 GTR before. How's bad if I try to do it without any electrical device like Grid Dancer or HKS torque will that could damage the transfer box ?
  2. I will confirm tomorrow morning the exact gap. Many thanks for the information on the red coil packs. I will take your recommendation and buy the SPLITFIRE COIL PACKS first thing in the morning.
  3. Hey guys I came from the track now. I could manage a 10.655 sec on the 1/4 mile, making 0-60ft 1.527 sec at only 123.97mph using the 255/50r16 hoosier drag radials and 300zx 16 x 8.5 wheels. The car was tuned at street up to 32psi of boost and runs great but then an ebay red coil packs (Australia seller) fail and we move to old oem coils but random missfire appears again on 3erd and 4th gear. We actually have an hks twin power ignition DLi in the car... Do you think that with SPLITFIRE coil packs we could solve the problem ?
  4. Regan...you're right about the 640 four wheel hp stock internal......and now we are going for even better numbers with everything forged. 10.43 but looking to enter into 9's
  5. jajaja very funny but in here says that you only learn to ride bicycle one time in your life...after you been in a 8sec car never have to learn again.. have fun
  6. Hi guys... Do you think 4pcs 16 x 8.5 with 35 offset from a rear Nissan 300zxtt will direct fit into a R33 GTR ? I will use hoosier drag radial 255/50R16 that is working very well locally..
  7. I will put our dyno numbers with RB26 forged with S372 @ 2bars....very soon
  8. yes, same inlet valve. RC injectors are fine a lot 2JZ with over 1000whp with no problem from my reading. the Borg Warner 72 turbo is more efficient at 35psi than 29psi. anyway we know that 640whp @ 29psi it was not correct we´ve using old stock coils and always an small missfire. now we have updrage coils also. to DiRTgarage a) how much is a decent whp on a single 72mm turbo with a 2,600cc engine at 29psi ? b) do you think it´s crazy up the boost to 40psi ?
  9. float oem nissan valve 8500rpm all the way and brake one valve guide but everything else keep in excellent condition. I hope that now we could rev up to 9,000 because the dyno curve shows more hp on higher rpm.
  10. Do you think that now we could increase the boost up to 40lbs and rev up to 9000 ?
  11. Thanks for the support of www.omegaxenon.com and his distributor in my country RPM Imports we are going to make a complete rebuild of our RB26 engine..... specs are : WISECO pistons std ARGO rods ACL RACE bearings ARP bolts GREEDY head gasket ATI s pulley RC 1200cc injectors GREEDY valves springs FERREA Ti retainers and locks FERREA +1mm valves NISSAN complete gasket set We will keep using the 264/9.1 Greedy cams, Jun oil pump, powerFC and BorgWarner 72mm turbo. We our stock rods and pistons we manage to produce 640whp (4 wheels) @ 29lbs and 8,000rpm..... how much do you think we could obtain now ?
  12. Probably if I ask how much hp ? RB26 Crankshaft ..... only will receive one response 1350whp now thanks to DirtGarage response I won a local discussion between friends... Capici ? have fun
  13. We are using one Borg Warner S372 A/R 1.1
  14. Many thanks for your response. I hope all the users could learn from somebody like you.
  15. I know it depends on several factors but I want to confirm how much boost have you ever go with forged RB26 engine with stock crankshaft ? I mean forged pistons, rods, race bearing, valves, etc....
  16. We notice a random misfire in the highway to the race track and decide to make some 0-60 test... Even with that problem the car improve their previous best 1.475 to a 1.460 Now the car transfer like our previous IMPORTS cars thanks to the L-SPEC DRAG Springs for Skyline... I'm very happy with them. I will follow the suggestion and make make a complete forged rebuild of the RB26 engine. We are very happy with those numbers but looking for more secure whp because we are over the limit of the nissan factory pistons and rods. videos GTR R33 0-60 GTR R33 0-60 2nd
  17. 95GTR600 : R33 GTR 1/4 mile 10.43 , 60' 1.47, mph 130, MT slicks, No Nitrous, Sunoco GT Plus R33 Lucho 10.43
  18. Next week we will use the four L-SPEC DRAG SPRINGS in order to improve the 1.47 in 0-60 foot and 10.43 in 1/4 mile.
  19. Many thanks...I think I will need to obtain four GTR R32 16" wheels soon to fit our R33.
  20. youtube video of the R33 at 1/4 mile track
  21. Thanks guys for all the information on the forum. I am very happy with the performance of our GTR R33. Second day at the 1/4 mile track we run 3 passes 10.59, 10.53 and 10.43 @ 130mph We run with SUNOCO Race Fuel 260GT PLus 104 octane unleaded. The car is a single turbo power FC +600whp tunned by Cristian Penson @ C-WORKS shop sponsored by Zero Wheels and omegaxenon.com Complete Full trim and Fastest Nissan in Dominican Republic. We look forward for better times on 2009.
