Yah we own the hardware store. Just got the car tuned at CRD a couple weeks ago... And thats with these phat ass wheels/tyres... Saving up for some mods.... this car has sent me broke dammit!

those sections will eventually be replaced by carbon parts.... just need to save up enough to buy them...

the wrap is very good, theres some untidy bits around the side mirrors and spoilers, but thats to be expected cause the amount of curves and what not, but that will be replaced with carbon fibre bits later on. wrap is easy enough to maintain, im not scared of getting scratches cause i can easily re-wrap the panel. it does get dirty easily but i love the colour and a quick rinse with water and chamois and ur good to go. just installed the rims a few days ago... here are the pics.

dom, its the savings that buying through the states that entices us to do this on our own. im saving atleast 2-3k on these wheels and tyres. just got updated on FedEx, they have located the missing wheel, it was still in Oakland CA, apparently the postage labels fell off... i had to send pics of the wheel and tyres to make sure they found the right ones. anyway, they are on a plane and should land in sydney tonight, and ill get the wheel tomorrow. thank god!!! cant wait to put them on the car

put it on the hoist, and it sounds like its a cat failure. rattling sound travels throughout the exhaust, my mechanic thinks its the cats (honeycomb has come loose). dont think this will be covered under warranty as it has a willall exhaust system, so know im going to have to find some hi flow cats to replace it as the rattling annoys the fk out of me.

Ok, FedEx called after I inquired as to "WHY THE f**k DID I JUST RECEIVE 3 WHEELS?" Apparently one of the wheels went missing, like WTF? Who buys 3 wheels? when the wheels are packed in a way where the tires are all exposed and clearly say 1 of 4 etc. How can one item have been left behind? What incompetence! When you see 3 wheels that say 1/2/3 of 4, anyone with the slightest common sense would think "Wheres the last wheel?!" Anyway, I had to take photos of the wheels so FedEx can try and locate the last one. Like they have no idea what a wheel looks like. I said to the customer care rep at FedEx "You must be stupid if you think I own a tricycle, because what else am I supposed to do with 3 wheels!". Poor bastard, not his fault but he copped the full brunt of my frustration. This is such... bullshit!

Rims are arriving today, got a call from FedEx to pay the customs duties and GST Sunday, while I was severely hang over from the night before but yet still managed to give my credit card details (from memory). Cant wait to slap them on. I'll post pics once its done.

front of the car... but its intermittent. I havent had a chance to drive the car much, but i havent heard it today. Will see how it goes during the week. If it reoccurs then ill take it to nissan for an inspection.

Hi, A couple of days ago I was driving the car and misread the gears and ended up downshifting to 1st gear going at about 30kms. The car obviously didnt like it cause it jerked and ever since then there is a rattling noise from under the car. Bell housing? Update: Local mechanic thinks its from the exhaust.... we'll see when he has a hoist free.

Been looking everywhere for carbon parts ie front lip, side skirts, rear bar for my MY 11. Seems like most manufacturers like Zele and Seibon which have designs that suit my taste, have yet to make parts to fit the facelift. Does anyone know of other manufacturers that have already made parts to fit the facelift?

porsche has more pull mainly cause its worked and running more boost, but its a rough ride with the coilovers and more wheel spin. the GTR feels much more safe, and its power band is very linear but its faster and handling is out of this world. its very tamed and easy to drive, i couldnt believe how they made this car feel so normal when u drive it in auto. i was looking at getting the C63 or RS5, but having driven both, i bought this one without ever test driving an R35 before hand, and i havent regretted the decision at all.

The only things im going to get in orange are number plates, brakes and wheel logos.... i want it to be a subtle highlight. But the the one on GT-RR looks pretty hot!

Hahaha i will definitely enjoy... and no polish or wax! Rims are ready, just gotta wait for Michael from Acute to pick them up from ADV.1 and ship them to me! Here are some pics for the rims. Fronts without the custom adv1 logo yet to be painted in orange Rears which have the custom coloured adv1 logo I am going for matte black and orange highlights look, hence the reason why the number plate and adv1 logos are orange, calipers are getting done next week.

Finally picked up the car today from the depot and got rego n plates straight away. Here are some pics.

how urgent do u need the wheels? my stock set might be up for sale in a few weeks, its the MY11 updated wheels, havent seen the tyres yet, but apparently in "decent" condition. thats what the dealer told me. pm if your interested

no pics yet, still waiting for the car. its in melbourne atm will arrive on saturday, pick up on monday. ill post pics when i get the car. rims are a few more weeks away... cant wait to slap the wheels on!! next thing is some wet carbon body kit parts to replace the OEM kit.

Anthony, dont suppose u wanna make some and put them up for sale? id be interested in a set if you ever did consider. looks so much more nicer when all the lights appear to have the same brightness.

haha yea, was lucky, i was only on the market for about a week before deciding to get that one. havent even seen the car yet. i just assumed that its in good condition as dealers have to disclose any dmg or repairs required, considering its an interstate purchase, if i cant get the thing rego'd, im sending it straight back, but i doubt that will be the case. Northside Nissan have been pretty upfront with the information and seem to be a nice bunch of guys. any hoots, ill post pics once i get the car.

Hi All, Just wanted to dropped in and say hi, just purchased an R35 from WA from Northside Nissan. Still waiting for the car to be shipped to Cabramatta NSW, which will take around 9-10 days. Ordered my custom plates, black background with orange text - HZRDUS which hopefully arrive around that time too. Just ordered a set of ADV.1s from Michael at Acute Performance, that... will take around 3 months. Anyways, if anyone sees a matte black GTR rolling around cabramatta... beep and wave. Laters...
