  2. hi all a friend of mine has just bought a r31 with a rb30/25. It's not wired up yet and was wondering if there was a harness that would work ie rb25 or if he will need someone to wire it up completely. Cheers
  3. We all know that the best oil around is the used oil from maccas it burns cleaner in the engine. And smells great!
  4. My injectors were ticking but a noid light wouldn't flash. Just try and see how ya go

  7. Problem started about 5 weeks ago and I have been slowly working it out as I'm a shift worker and had no time. Thought I could be afm's but when I replaced them it was the same. Then checked over all piping and that was good. So I started to play with the coil packs and noticed that I can unplug 3 and 5 with no effect to the engine revs
  8. nah its not sorted tried fault codes a few times and keeps showing 55

  10. I switch the coils a couple of times and it was always 3 and 5.

  12. Hi all. Just wanna know what limp home mode does to your engine. I know it limits revs to about 2500 I found that out through searching for answers. Will it cut cylinders? 3 and 5 aren't firing I have changed coils around changed plugs and tries new ignitor. Also tested all wiring from ecu to coils and all were good. Cheers.
  13. Dammm that's bad luck man. Its engine out for sure man. Which can't be cheap
  14. Forgot to say had consult on it and was showing afm failure I replaced both and reseted the ecu same thing so I'm guessing a wiring fault. Also it is still blowing a bit of smoke is this just left over in the exhaust or should I be getting worried.
  15. The front wheel was completely intact but it had completely broken the rear wheel off
  16. Timing belt hasn't jumped a tooth? Check the points on the cam gear.
  17. Ok i have now replaced the turbo which was buggered found the rear wheel (or what was left of it) in the cat. Now will not start with out a few pumps of the pedal and sounds like a Subaru I drove it for a bit and got it warm still the same story.
  18. My R32 does the same cold really holds back and when it gets to temp u can feel it change. Like I take the handbrake off.

  20. Sounds like fuel try a noid light with the injectors or a multimeter to test for a pulse.
  21. How's the timing. Is the cas in the same position
  22. hey guys checked the timing and got it back to position. Tool it for a drive jut to see if I had a bit of shot fuel in the bores when I took off it started blowing blue smoke and won't get positive pressure tested it when I got home and my rear turbo isn't sucking. Gonna start ripping it off now and will report on the state of it

  24. I will try and hunt down a different ignitor and test that. Not sure about it leaning out usually end up with black shit all over the back of my car after driving it for a week. Will look into the ignitor though and also yet the timing tonight
  25. put noid light in number one injector and started light was coming on. i fixed the power feed with a new ecu. guessing injector drive was fried like you suggested. fuel line is getting hard. i was driving when it stopped was on the highway and it started misfiring and then died when i hit the clutch. definetly has spark tested every coil and plug. definetly has fuel aswell. thanks for all your help DVS i would be stuffed without ya.
