hi DVS i have just tested the car again a small amount of white smoke came out. i then tested with out the afms and run the same. checked my codes in the ecu and got 12 which is afm im guessing cause i unplugged them and also 21 which was ignition signal. any idea wat would cause it to throw that code.

No smoke that I seen but it was pretty dark.

UPDATE. It started last night with new ecu and a fully charged battery. But it took a while and a bit of gas and died of I didn't keep the revs up. Have a timing light and gonna check that tonight and also go right over the cooler piping again just incase I missed a vacuum leak. Thanks everyone for your help so far

What symptoms would I have if it was stuffed. Car won't start as per my other topic

Hey rolls I got another ecu and tried it and the car still wouldn't go. Got a consult coming tonight so hope I find it.

I've now tried a new ecu and still won't fire. Sounds better now and sounds like it wants to fire but just can't for some reason

Yea pulled the top off the ecu and found no burn marks. Had no smell either

Yea ecu seems to be working. I actually tried to fire this morn will try play with the injectors now

Forgot to say run into diagnose mode last night and it kept flashing 55 would it find a fault if the injectors stopped pulsing

checked all fuses and relays sooo puzzled

Righto went over the whole thing with a fine tooth comb and found the injectors have no voltage at cranking could this be an injector

checked all cooler pipes this morn and were all fine. gonna get a pressure gauge for the fuel rail today i know i have spark and pulse pulled all plugs and tested today and all have a thick white spark.

Got it to tax and checked cam gears

I know this is a green as hell question but how do I go into diagnose mode

Is that enough for it to not fire?

A week ago i was driving on the highway car was running beautiful and then it made a small backfire noise started missing and then died when my foot hit the clutch. I towed it home and now it won't start. I have put another cas sensor on it and same story. I have since checked. Timing and it was all good. Spark and coils working fine. Pulled plug off injectors and checked with multimeter which showed no volts and then 10 when it pulsed. Not sure if that is ok. Fuel rail is pressurizing and the pump is priming. Battery shows 12.4 volts but engine is turning over slowly. Could it not be starting due to not cranking fast enough. Please help it's killing me not knowing.

Oh k I'm with ya now. Yea I gonna check over it tonight but I starting to lean upwards fuel myself.

Consult cable? Sorry I'm a little green when it comes to the electrical side. I got a mate coming over tonight to check the voltages at all the different parts

I am having the same problems at the moment mine made a small backfire and then started dieing but I was driving on the highway not even Gettin under boost got a second hand cas and still the same. the exhaust temp light came on after it stalled out aswell

Managed to spin the hamonic balancer and shaved the key way need a new crank now if you have one please contact me
