  1. hey mate can i get some more info on the turbos? what make are they, how many k's have they done, what age are they, rollerbearing, do they have much play or any leaks/issues at all? i was looking at a new to4z set up but this does look nice and im sure would go hard. are you negotiable at all and would you do COD as its a fair bit of cash to send to a random bank account lol btw im in bris, thanks mate.
  2. since it was after a oil change i would also have to go with a lifter. get this a bit at work. when you change the oil and put a new filter on you induce a fair bit of air into your engines oil gallerys which can enter a lifter pretty easily, usually it will go away after a bit of driving. if not, lifter could possibly be on its way out...
  3. i was refering to a late model, since thats the crank i will be using. the main reason i decided to go to a rb26 crank in the 1st place was to fix the oil pump drive issue. thanks for the info sk, so pretty much im better off just goin N1 by the sounds of it. is the cheapest option getting it through nissan for trade price or does someone know somewhere else that sells them cheaper. i see spool on ebay has them for $390... cheers
  4. i got cp rb26 pistons, hopefully get long crank tomorrow night
  5. honestly? i have already purchased the pistons and rods... going to look at a crank shaft tomorrow night. what about oil pump? ive heard the only diff between N1 and stock is higher oil pressurer which is acheivable through installing a shim in the standard pump pressure relief valve anyways. is this true or is there more to it? thanks.

  7. anyone else got any ideas??? im about to order pistons from usa so i need to make sure that all i need is cp pistons to suite a rb26, rb25/26 eagle rods and then source a long crank here. are all the crank main journals the same? thanks again.
  8. sorry mate EDIT i meant late model 32GTR eg. V-spec. forgot that bit lol i will be using eagle rods and cp pistons, not 100% wat oil pump is best bang for buck?? has anyone put a rb26 crank in a rb25? if so, many hassels?
  9. hey guys, im currently under the build of a rb25 for my s13 silvia. lookin at fully forged bottom end with cams n porting up the top and plenty of the usual stuff... already got most the gear. the thing im not sure about is what to do about the oil pump drive, either im thinking just wack on a crank collar and a oil pump to suite. believe a late 32 gtr onwards pump will fit?? also many aftermarket options. OR... is it just as easy to put a 32gtr onwards crankshaft (long crank) on with rb26 oil pump and aftermarket rb26 pistons and rods to suite? and this would fix the oil pump drive issue? any info on puttin the rb26 crank in a rb25 would be helpfull. thanks guys, adam.
