  3. I hate to say it but that's the same noise mine made before I had to remove it. I got a GCG high flow. There is plenty more options around now. I did mine 2 Christmas ago.I know how you feel. 7. It was old stock and the guy wanted $350 for it. But it had a little scratch on it and I was going to leave it. Then he said it was going to be cut up in 2 weeks if it wasn't gone. So I offered a $100 not to cut it up and got to take it home. I know its not legal but I wont be using it that much. Its more of a test fit for now.
  8. Got the carbon fibre bonnet for $100 last night. Was an easy swap over. Just need to get some window squirters.
  9. If the black box is getting an ok vacuum/boost supply then it could be a dry joint on the plug inside of it. Try removing the lid of the boost sensor and check the soldering it could be black and dry. Run a soldering iron over it and remelt the solder.
  10. That sucks to hear. I found his number in another post. Hope this helps. I would ring it everyday until he pays up. I would try the annoyance thing.
  11. 22 would be where the little vent near your left knee is. There is a tube that feeds back from behind the vent
  12. Here you go hope this helps. Just start checking to see if you have 12V going around the circuit for starters
  13. Yes it did. If you put a map disk in it shows all the headings in English
  14. Hope this answers a few questions. Quoted from Fedor "Yes, series 2 will be somewhat the same. There are no significant changes/additions in functionality. It will have L/100km. No, it is not the last conversion. I'm working on later (HDD) models in parallel."
  15. You can actually change it back. We have a run back disk which we can reload back to normal if you don't like the conversion. Or you could just get a Japanese firmware disk and put that in.
  16. I would say it would be the same as series 1. Ill ask him next time I speak to him. Not alot of people have asked for it that way. But I could be wrong
  17. S2 should be released in November. It is very close to being ready. http://www.xanavi.com.au/Xanavi/Xanavi_Language.html

  19. You can either cut the speed sensor and earth the handbrake wire behind the dvd rom or get it done programmaticality.
  20. I have seen the illumination wire and acc wire touching before behind a new radio that was installed very badly. Which did exactly what you described. You would have 2 circuits touching each other intermittently somewhere in the car.
  21. What does that mean ( come one here much) ? Anyway now you have 21 days to come up with your best come back
  22. I know someone in Adelaide that has exactly the same problem. It just stopped working about a month ago. Can still hear sound just no picture.
