  1. Another great year. Great to meet some new members. The highlight was seeing the cops go after the Ferrari. Did anyone hear if they caught him? And having a drink at the watermark. Where all the SAU shirts were. Also cant wait to see Dave's photos.
  2. Ryan if your coming down to All Japan Day on Sunday can you bring my set or can I pick them up on the way home after AJD
  3. Anyone out North want to drive in together?
  4. It caters for people that have never ridden before. The first lesson is pushing someone on the bike and then swap over. I would say it will make you a better driver. They teach you to look at blind spots more and keeping gaps for emergency. It can get hard at the end of the day if you can't do figure 8s and ride between 2 lines without touching them and putting your feet down See you out there when I get a bike again one day.
  5. Starting to look cool. I want to see pics of the finished dash if you don't mind sir. Can't wait to see it at All Japan Day all finished.
  6. Bolt on wind deflector. I had one on my car when I got it. I took it off was my first mod.
  7. I'm just working on which weekend both should be ok. Its been a while since i have been on a cruise. I will notify a few new owners to came too. Hey Jase are we talkng neck stretching with the new engine
  8. Here is my Vk that i took down a few times. My best time ever was 14.1 and that wasn't 200m either. Looking forward to taking the GTR out there one day.
  9. I have similar lights and I went through regency 3 times to get my car right they didnt even touch the lights. Also the ummd and rrrrrd about the nismo intake but i didnt have to change it
  10. Use the high beam 12v+ at the light and run that to a relay. So that when you turn the head liht on the relay will turn on. Then on the contact run a new circuit from battery (fused) and to a on/off switch and then through the relay contact and then to spotties. So the spotties will only work when on high beam and then you can turn them on or off via the switch. Even if you leave the switch on the spotties will still turn off when on low beam via the relay.
  11. I'll be there this week for the first time. I have a pass out as some people would say. Hope this dosen't seem to keen Dave.
  12. He rang me yesterday for a chat. If you want lee bring your car over and we can have a talk. Ill show you the factory set up and what you could do.
  13. It cant be that hard to work out. The AC switch when turned on supplies 12v to the pressure switch. If there is pressure then it sends the 12v to the compressor head which will pull in. Get a multimeter and check that the AC switch is turned on. Put ign to on but not start. Then go to the pressure switch and look for 12v. If you only have 12v on one side of pressure switch then some how touch the 2 together. This will bypass it and you might here the compressor pull in. If you find there is 12v at the compressor then it might be a bad earth. Every circuit needs an earth return to the battery to work. Just tell them unless its a falcodore then all cars are imports.
  14. You might need gas first. Exactly what he said. You could bypass the pressure switch to see the compressor pulley lock in. To prove that part works. Don't try this with engine running. Take the auto electrician a wiring diagram of it next time.
  15. Buy your own cable and lugs and make your own. Then they will be the right length.
  16. It doesn't let you play videos. The dvd rom can unblock the screen for picture from the tv tuner to be displayed while driving. Otherwise there will be a blocked signal when watching the TV while diving.
  17. I would be digging around the car sometimes they have an AV lead coiled up for AUX into the TV and stereo. Or there could be the RCAs in the back of the player above glovebox
  18. It could also be a constant live 12v wire touching your accessories. If pulling the no ign fuses and the problem is still there then pull the fuses that have power on them when the car is turned off. Just think if you disconnected your battery it would go away. So then work your way back
  19. Try cleaning both sides of the radar lens. That's most probably why the fuse was pulled. Is it every 5 minutes or more random. Mine shuts down on a bend if it sees an on coming car also.
  20. That's what gets used to download the English conversion and unblock the video block.
  21. This makes me want to buy off you less. Did you expect all of us to just change our minds. P.S. Money transferred Ryan and I will pick up.
  22. I have a handbrake lever handle
  23. I've got a stock dump you can use
  24. Thanks Abe, As high as my standards are. I have only installed 1 alarm on my old SLR 5000. The alarm wiring is the easy part. Its knowing where it all interfaces in with the car. Might give it a miss.
  25. If you buy the RS surround with the screen just remove the screen and put in the little glovebox there instead. Its like the double din kit. Then the AC controls will work. I guess you are taking out all the jap stuff by the first thread. You could fit a small screen with av in the pop up holder. It wont look factory but it will give more options. If you use the factory screen you will need the dvd rom and the TV tuner in the boot for the AV input. I dont think anyone has put a factory system into a non fitted car.
