For sale:1987 Series 4 FC RX7 jap import body 138,000k It has the following mods: Engine: large Extend ported and doweled 13bt engine rebuilt 12,700kms ago by MRE, with brand new series 6 housings series 4 rotors with series 6 springs side,corner seals etc and PTS 2mm unbreakable seals. S6 upper inlet manifold modified to fit a s5 lower inlet manifold with large ported runners. Twin belt alt pulley. motor sport clutch with 1200kg presser plate. PWR 40mm aluminum radiator, with 16" Davis Craig thermo fan, massive 300x300x45 oil cooler. Fuel: NipponDenso intake 750hp fuel pump, 880cc primary injectors and 1700cc secondary injectors. Intake: the response is crazy with this Full Trust TD06 20g turbo kit with external gate and screamer pipe greddy manifold, KnN long nose filter, 450x300x76 front mount intercooler with custom built stainless steal piping, turbosmart v port bov. Exhaust: custom built 3" turbo back system going to one massive resonator to twin rotaflow mufflers with long stainless steel 4" tips. Electronics: WOLF3d v4.57plus ecu with hand controller, HKS turbo timer, Autometer boost,oil temp, oil presser gauge, Cheetah alarm and immobilizer, OPTIMA dry cell battery behind passenger seat with kill switch, pioneer CD ipod/usb player. Exterior: Origin body kit, aero mirrors, colour white with black bonnet and pop up lights, s5 custom LED tail lights only two in Australia as i know of not in pic will be showing new pics soon. Interior:Do-luck floor brace, rear seats removed. Recaro leather bucket seats, deep dish sports steering wheel, short shifter kit. i guess we could try it by making all our cars stock again or bring your stock import along. then go do it. then they will defect us unfairly like usual and we can all sue the f**k out of them and make our point on how they do this all the time and go "see see" channel 9. or just have a fat protest with out our cars (and have a few stock imports there) and do it on foot. just to get the word out that we have had enough being taking advantage of etc etc. -

Exactly this is what I'm talking about and it has to stop. if a business took advantage of there customers like this, they would be in big trouble. and the quota the cops need to do, needs to change thats bullshit. because all thats going to do is make them leave it to the last week its due and they will just go defecting imports. because they are an easy target (and will not be bothered to sue or cant sue them back). Instead of defecting the old bombs etc etc when they see it. (( passenger cop) " theres a old bomb etc etc " ( driver cop) " Na stuff it, I'm sure ill see plenty of import i can defect before my quota is due")....... but i guess if my ideas are working then this will stop. Anyone here got anymore ideas to add to the list? cheers -

OK so now i know if i try and get my friends in the gov to help i have no support to back me up GREAT. now i know why it will never work! My friends in Gov said what they need first is a majority to put there hand up/sign a partition(which my lawyer friend has been helping me with) and say yes thats what we want changed, not just me on my own. I really thought i would of have a big number of people help and make ideas and work together to make this happen. -

sorry when did i impersonate a cop?!!! there are allot of kids on these forums so yes it is hard to be taken seriously. if qld can have things changed why cant we WHY. is it because of the reaction i got from most people sending this post? everything I'm asking is very fare and is done in other states. It will make everyone happy, the car industry/scene/events/jobs/excitement will grow= more money for businesses and new growth. -

All i wanted was to see how much support i would have(because thats how the system works.numbers). get people to tell me what what they wanted and there ideas on how to tackle it. Ive thought of a few ideas like having a car enthusiast rego fee and have a plate/sticker for it, so cops know. Also having mod plates and working all together to have better priced engineering and able to engineer everything.( i have more ideas.) If it does happen, make the police aware of this and so if you do have an engineering cert/mod plate or enthusiast plate and do the right thing, they cant defect you/us. Because right now if you have an engineering paper they still will defect you in ADELAIDE. If we keep all the good things about Adelaide's road rules and mix it with all the good things about QLD road rules. we would have it pretty sweet here. and i dont see why it cant QLD is part of Australia and so is Adelaide get what I'm saying here. Whats Wrong with that really? I do understand winging about it on the net wont do anything. This is not what this is all about. i know its easy to come up with such a remark and just laugh. -

IT NEEDS TO CHANGE IF QLD CAN HAVE THIS MOD PLATE STUFF WHY CANT WE.. I mean - lets list the LEGAL modifications that can be done to a car in SA.... Cat-Back Exhaust (within reason) Front Mount intercooler (that doesn't require any modification the front bar) ummm.... 2" bigger on your wheels.... Doesn't create for a very exiting car-culture does it... To continue my rant, im going to start with the first most important point : A ) no simple or affordable way to have your modification deemed *legal* (it costs more to engineer some coilovers than to bloody buy them!) QLD & NSW have things like modplates and engineering certificates so that enthusiasts who do the right thing dont get hassled... it cost me $800 to have EVERYTHING on my car engineered, cheapest quote i got in adelaide was around $6,500.... and half of the mods weren't "engineerable" in SA... B ) Defect Traps *RBT & Drug Testing* excuses. I'm completely against drink/drugged driving, however at Mallala i guarentee they will defect 10X more cars than arrest drunk or drugged drivers. C ) Inconsistent rules at Regency: with 1 main RTA station, you think they would be able to get it right ? D ) Police mentality now heavily biast towards pulling over imports (shit it's an easy target, since all you have to look for is a BOV (i would like to see a study on how MASSIVE the impacts of having one are, when compared to the 20year+ old pieces of shit you see driving on adelaide roads.... and why they are deemed such an illegal item in the first place) End of the day, the amount of petitions / groups formed etc. to try and change legislation in SA... i haven't seen one change in 10 years. Why? maybe people aren't choosing the right avenues, or people give up too easy, or maybe the demographic just wont get light of day thanks to hoon stereotype that we have these biast media-hype sensationalist shows like ACA and today tonight to thank for. Im interstate now so it's not my issue, but i admit coming back to SA after being away makes it so much more bleedingly obvious how poorly deligated police resources are in this state, and how sickeningly obvious the revenue raising is. (Maybe it's just a result of the South Australian being either lazy or just not willing to speak up, cause i know in NSW / QLD the general public wouldn't stand for a bar of it.) I’m not saying that shit cars should be allowed on the streets and yes sometimes cars like that get defected but most of the time its imports that are well looked after and stick out and are clean as, that get defected. and i think its a good idea to introduce mod plates and have cheaper engineering here so us non hoons car enthusiasts will be left alone or some sort of system that will do this. im sick of driving my car in fear i love my cars and i want to enjoy them with out being targeted. i will pay an extra fee in my rego or somthing to be left alone. i just dont want to pay $$$$$ and time to get my car off defect becauase the cop was having a bad day or he hates import cars ect ect. ***we should all brain storm ideas together TO FIGHT BACK. and unfair defects (that are wrong) just to get there quota up and they get away with it.*** cheers
