  1. Did not think it would take Phil long to get back at winding back, he is a survivor. The dumb crap about this is, he will get away with it and go on his merry way laughing Our company laws seem stuffed or very slow to act and these blokes can just about do what they want?
  2. Looks like fun, even after the 3rd time reading it, lol
  3. It feels like a normal clutch and I love it, had a OS Quad before that, what a bitch without torque , as I was putting more torque down, it was getting easier around town, BUT The other thing that was good for me, the Quad engaged early on the peddle and I was sitting on the steering wheel. The twin engaged much later and having short legs it allowed me to get back into a better driving position, the joys of being a short arse The Twin is rated around 740BHP ( crank) about 630 awhp. I am at the limit , but I also have a lot more torque for it to handle , something like 1000Nm@4000rpm. I guess the other thing is mine is also a street car and does not get thrashed for long periods but what I do it handles easily.
  4. I ended up with a twin C spec but I am pretty sure the Single was 420 PS, around 310KW. My twin is handling more than it is rated to, so I guess the single would do the same. Mid to high 300KW, go for the twin , easy street clutch and will handle a bit more , you will always want a bit more, lol

    Wheels

Young Jake next took a shot of the wheels, different look. He wants to take some more photos, it is his hobby , has to be better than my efforts, LOL
  6. Just been for a drive, get the Turbos, lol She will understand
  7. Yeah, it is a bit expensive , but there was probably more included than I needed, oil.water and exhaust as I had no intention to do any track and it only had bursts of speed for adrenaline kicks , so it was over kill, maybe just the turbos are an option, OH , even better , get a new missus , LOL Nothing wrong with Turbos in your old age, I hit 74 in a few weeks
  8. Couple of pics, cannot see much of the turbo setup, down too low It was a system, turbos, water, oil upgrade, new exhaust system and some other bits, it was about 10 years ago. They made it for the 350Z and all they had to do was add 10cm to the exhaust pipe length. Lifted the car off the motor, bolted it all together and back together, The system cost around $16,000 but I do not think they use the APS kit anymore, could be wrong ? Call Autotech 02 98971378, the bloke there was very helpful , Spiro. If they changed the system the new one might be better. But I crapped the first time I pressed hard on the peddle, was not expecting so much extra power. The auto box worked well and it was seamless power at any time you wanted and away you go, never missed a gear, lol, I loved it.
  9. I bought my "03" 350GT Skyline , from ELs , said 14,000klm so I am sure it was wound back, as was my R34GTR , said 17,000 klm, but both cars were clean and no rust, motors ran smooth, so all good. I put the APS twin turbo system from Autotech on the 350GT and it was great to drive, a real sleeper , loved it , if it was a manual, I would still have it now
  10. Both Dynos are pretty similar but just about broke my neck reading them, LOL 947 Nm That's pretty good
  11. What would you put in your top 5 ? Anyone else for their TOP 5 to make a $ in the future ? Cannot imagine buying a great car and storing it for an investment
  12. I had better stop drinking and start eating right so I can get some benefit from this future windfall , LOL
  13. interesting read, thanks
  14. I just liked to drive them and when they do not do what I want, i changed it until I was happy. So I guess it is up to you, if you feel the car runs great, it is great Going off the Dyno I think yours looks really good and should drive great on the road and track. "Can only guess about the track, lol" How do you like it ? Post the 2nd graph
  15. Dropping off at 160kph seems like 3rd if it was revving around or over 7000 rpm?
  16. Maybe you are right, but it is better to know the policy of a company before you have a prang, too late after
  17. From what I was told, the car is insured on all normal driving situations if you adhere to their policy requirements and not be charged with braking the road rules that caused you to claim on the accident, like neg driving, DUI etc Driving too and from the track is OK, not track work of any kind. Hooning , nah , no way , bye bye R, lol So , as I understand it, driving on a day out with like minded car owners and driving within the road rules is OK , how could it not be acceptable ??
  18. Year , it is all a bit iffy if you ask me. At least with the 9000klm you could could photo your usage or something similar. And if you wanted to cheat a little , we know who to get to wind them back a 1000klms or 2 or 50k, initials PL , LOL
  19. Advan RS-D machine/gloss black might look OK ?
  20. There you go, all good, worth another call or 2 or 3 or 4 , lol
  21. Would like to get an answer to this, it is a great way to insure a car that you do not drive all the time
  22. Thanks for the advice, should be able to give it a run next weekend and when I am down with Jez I will see what he thinks. The small amount of driving I have done since they were installed, they felt OK. I thought they were set up to drop in without any adjusting, maybe they dropped it down a bit and was a little low. Wanted to keep the same ride height as I have a bit of trouble coming into the driveway, had to take the 350GT in on an 45 degree angle
