  1. I doubt he would something that would stuff the job to save a $ , that does not seem to be what he does , if he did use the gasket I would say it is dead flat
  2. Used to do it all the time, lol Used to do it all the time, lol
  3. I will ask, maybe it is the old one just sitting there, I do not think he would use a gasket that is not good enough for the job ?
  4. haha, you are kidding Chris, you will never stop, a quick visit to a bank will get all of your dreams, maybe with note and a gun, LOL
  5. Pump looks the works, know anyone that have used them ? Glad to see you are looking ahead, if you decided to change your turbo, what do you have in mind. I thought your car was pretty well balanced as it is but maybe a new age Turbo could make it even better
  6. Yeah Bob,but I "had enough" ages ago but as you know, if it is not right you have to keep going until it is. After that and the car runs properly , it will be the end as there would be nothing else for me to do for a street car, good response and power , it already has great clutch, Front diff, trannie mods and a 2-Way LSD = HAPPY II would expect to be able to post the Dyno next week and after I drive it home I will be able to say if it what I was after.
  7. Hi Ben, just in case you misunderstood , I went to all of my kids births and could not be any prouder, wonderful experiences, but you can still joke about it The dump pipe,, cooler and intake pipe are being fabricated, then he will welding the twin wastegate positions and then twin plumb back into the dump. Toss it on the Dyno and if all of the problems have been fixed and worked in together he can do the pod cover, the END! well ???
  8. haha, that will work, BUT can you be trusted If the tune was done last I would have gone down, about 12 hours return, but it is having a pod cover made after the tune, I ask him to do it this way just in case he thinks the Turbo needed changing
  9. But if it was really shitty I was going to get someone else's really good Dyno graph and post it
  10. I will ask for a Vid but I wont be there, so ? It is sort of like not going to the birth of your kids, well sort of, I hope it is not as messy, can you imagine all of those left over parts all over the floor, old manifold, injectors, nuts and bolts, you get the idea, but I am sure it will not be quite as good but second best is OK
  11. There are a few mods to be done to fit the manifold and it is going to be heat wrapped and I would think that would be done soon. So I guess tomorrow or early next week it will be tossed on the Dyno and hoping for a good outcome When Jez is happy with everything he will make up a CAI pod cover and hopefully I will never have to touch the heap again ,
  12. But I know myself and do not mind saying so You Just try being nice , trust me , if you don't like it go back to normal =
  13. I know I am a boring old fart but I have not tried to turn the wick up, well up top, but with a shit load of torque, 900Nm you would think it would burn a little rubber from 6000rpm, not just a skip . I am sure it felt stronger going from 7000rpm as a 2.6 , STOP! I do not want to hear it , hahaha
  14. There are no rails around the GAP, feel what it's like to fly Nothing wrong with the fall , it is just the sudden stop at the bottom that's a bummer
  15. Hi Brent, the good thing is we are both not impressed but we will see. There are some pretty handy 3.2l out there, better than the 3.0 , guess it depends on the builder and $s spent ?? but I do not care, just want the car running as it should and be able to drive again
