I know shit all and that has been the only way I can learn any of this and there is so much to learn. I have had a few problems but do not let it get me down, it is just the time factor, it is frustrating when you get your car back and it is not as good as it should be and in it goes again The major problem for me with forums are the conflicting opinions , so like most people, I then tend to listen to like minded people who have the sort of car that interests me. What you have said is what I have come to understand.the 6boost brand is pretty good for the price but there are others that could be better.

Yes Mitch, there have been some strange going ons with this build and after a while it becomes normal to find something else is stuffed up ,lol Trouble is , who's life do 6Boost base the warranty on , I guess if it is mine I will not have to worry about it, haha I think things are very close to a much better outcome, the car is in pretty good nick , so all good

I would also like to know if there are boost benefits with them , you know , helpful stuff, informative input.

After the design is sorted, the welding is the major factor, if they are not welded by a robot I guess it is down to the bloke doing the job on the day. Apparently they have they been making these manifolds for a while, you would think they could get the welding down pat by now?

I read your thoughts , what do you think is the main problem ? Have read some good reports tonight ?

Thanks, there might be plenty of blokes using them and maybe for yonks, but I searched 6Boost on SAU and all I get is, me , no info from other blokes on SAU using them ?

Had a bit of a look at those 6Boost Manifolds, seem like a nice unit. Hard to find a lot of info, anyone used the 6boost or knows about them. From what I can work out, it is the way the 6 pipes all come together and there is no real disruption of the exhaust flow ( not sure about the wording)

When did his get full boost, I will try to find it later but I do not mind maxing out under 380 kw and I am hoping for full boost under 4000rpm and think we will get it, but my expectations so far in the modifying world have been less than met, lol Full boost at 4600rpm seems late and hopefully with the cams and cat tweaked, the 6boost manifold , a new tune???

It was not being built for the track. I do not care if it is 300kw as long as I can use the 300kw as a DD, a street car that does not going until 5000rpm + , in "my mind" is a waste of a good car. Do not get me wrong, even the way it is now, it is a fun car. It has a linear acceleration that handles easily on corners. Blokes talk about too much torque but the right foot takes care of that and your brain takes care of the rest. This is what I want, being at full boost before 4000rpm, it is 4600 now so I think under 4k should be easy to get considering some of the problems I have had with the build once the problems have been sorted

The motor works fine, the exhaust is being tweaked and the turbo ?? Maybe the manifold could be the problem for the turbo?? It is full boost now at 4600rpm and then starts to loose boost, I want it under 4000rpm and to maintain the boost and do not think that should be too hard to get. The manifold may come on Tuesday and if it does the work can be finished and the car tuned. So I will wait and see

I know it runs hard and I enjoy it, even when it was playing up, it was still fun to drive. Some of you blokes may not understand but it took me a long time to get used of the car sounding like a bumble Bee , it was strange , even annoying when you had to go to 6000rpm before anything happened. I have never done track or hill climb, I now know once these cars get going they keep going but to get the most out of a high HP skyline you need to keep the revs high or if you want to have a bit of local fun , drop it at 7000rpm and that is not a good look coming out of Woollies . I want this car to get going ASAP , please do not say get a V8 or V12 , I have had a V12, V8 and a V6, even a 911, I like my 34, I like a stick, I like the way it feels when I drive it, I like the look of it , I like sitting in it and I will get it to do what makes me happy

I was thinking of getting married again, I do not need to, I can be pissed on, harassed and tormented from the blokes on SAU and it costs me nothing, now that is much cheaper than the few $s I spent on the 34 , SO
