Talking about XKLABA, he was 1st in his class at the Tamworth round of the NSW Hillclimb Championship and only 0.33 off the class record, go Mick I think he was 8th or 9th overall

It will be interesting to see how it turns out considering he said the tune was OK and pretty aggressive, so we will soon find out. XKLABA drove it and posted a few thoughts on an earlier page

will be getting something later today I think. The initial feedback was that the tune was OK, there were a few things to look at but it was just a run for him to see what is going on.

I dropped the car at the tuners yesterday and think Mark means the Dyno print from the test run. I think they were just having a look at it and said the tune was pretty good, so we will see what we end up with. The car will need the other work done before the final tune and I should get a before and after result off the same dyno to post.

Talked to Jez today and he is using the Teflon Braided lines, so all good. I have kids too, so I know what you mean and the trouble with petrol you do not need more than a drop or 2 and it hangs in there for yonks

Yes Mark , leave here around 4am , get a train and a bus back home and it just about drops me at my door, only $35 as to $400 getting to and from the Sydney shop , even though I flew to Sydney 1 Hr, 40min to the airport , they want you there an hour before the flight, 2 trains and get picked up at the station , it is about the same time After he drops me off I think he will do a dyno run to have a look and be able to have a back to back comparison after the work is done.

not that it will make any difference but what did the Teflon braided cost for the job, just wondering the price difference between that and a cheaper alternative ?

Thanks I think I will go the drivers side, depending on the size I might not have to move it to check the reservoir. I think when it arrives it will give us a better idea. The other side has the jack and tools and allows a bit more luggage space. Sort of wish I put it under the car and if I have any problems that is what I will do.

Drivers side in the boot? What lines are you running ?

That is being done, not worth doing this mod on the cheap

Not worried about the noise , the Walbro is pretty quiet and they are intank ,If there is smell problem , there will be a surge tank for sale Steve , any petrol smell with the Nuke ???

Thanks Steve, I could not find very much info on the Nuke Surge Tank but they looked pretty well made and using the Walbros was a plus. Did you mount yours in the boot ?

I was confused with their ad, when I looked at it, there were external and internal but they both looked like external except for the colour of the pumps. But Jez sent the right info for the internal model, all good

Yeah mate , from what I have read these are great, but I have had enough of waiting, the car was booked in for this Friday and I could not get the SP1200 for at least another 3 or 4 weeks and my patients is stuffed, I want it done! I am sure this Nuke will do the job

This Nuke looks pretty good, but no one seems to have heard of them It is an intank surge model , 3lt and a pretty compact model, so I guess I have paid for it, I had at least should try it

Most of my driving is on hills, the straight line driving gets boring after you get used of your new power. I drive 3 to 7 times a week to keep the cobwebs out . I agree about the boot as I use the 34 for longer trips but I only have one girl at home now so a little bit more spare room.
