You might be right about the driver , me I had a T78 so not a new age turbo but it was hideous as a DD , but I guess we all have our own idea of lag for a STREET CAR, " not track or hill climb." as I know shit all about this type of driving, but I know once the revs are up they are great.

The next tune I have done will have RPM and you will bet a comparison , I find these Dynos without the rpm to be a pain. I will try and have the few things I need done ASAP and it should be interesting to see if they can do more with the tune and cam dialing ? Is there anyone reading this that can put the revs to the KPH. Paul was saying that I have lost 5.2KW but at 18.5psi not 22psi on the last tune , as you can see the psi drops off from 24psi @ 351kw and makes full power @ 18.5psi of 381.7KW, so I guess it really did not loose anything with the new dump ?? Stuffed if I know how it works

haha, but getting it up to 7k and dropping it at the lights or out of Woolies car park is not a good look, fun no doubt but is frowned upon by the boys in blue

Big turbos are exciting and I am sure my car would be great with a big modern turbo, that is, if I could ever use it Each to his own mate, just got to love cars and driving them

I like it there, no obstruction for the air and you do not have to bend it at each end to go into the original position , a lot of Plates look like they have been nailed on, see great looking Rs and shitty plate positions and conditions ? Not worried if it is missing again, I am not going back to Sydney and I am sure I will find someone closer and go from there. Shit mate if everything worked the thread would closed and my life as I know it is over

Thought I had a little misfire at around 7000rpm this morning, do another test tomorrow morning but running strong. Did a little 5500 launch, wheels just skipped and away it went, had to grab 2nd pretty quick I am going to finish it off in a few weeks. It will be getting a new flex fuel tune. It will be interesting to see how a different tuner does with this setup ?? Not much to see in pics, apart from the dump everything is the same, boring , but never got sick of looking at them

If I was after big HP I would not have used the PT6262 either, just wanted one that spooled sooner for my please on the street, all good

I cannot read their Dyno graphs , well all Dynos but it drives pretty good.

PT6262 CEA Finally got a photo out of the phone Luke , I do have a new set of AD08Rs on now, the old tyes had plenty of rubber but old due to the car sitting in a garage for 5 years they said they were 10 years old and to scrap them. The car seems to drive the same up to about 3000rpm but stronger after that Just checked the water and looking GOOOOOD I will give it a bit of work over the weekend just to be sure. Looks like I will have to put the surge tank in the boot but I use the car for trips I do not like the idea of taking up the space, is there any other way of doing this

Well just checked the water and it is still warm but it seems OK, will wait until tomorrow when it is cold before i get excited . The 4" Dump and 100 Cell cat was installed, (have to have a look at it as I do not know the size) The Starter motor was replaced or fixed ? The misfiring was addressed , gave it some work on the way home and all seemed good. I will give it a more vigorous trial soon. The water leak seems to be sorted The cost for this work = $0 Their communication is crappy but they backed up their work, well, in my experience. I have no idea why there was a 6KW lose of power but it does not feel like it to drive, only took it to 7000rpm and loved it Having trouble getting the dyno off the phone, try tomorrow, fn laptop hic hic Be back in a few weeks as I think I will make a couple of changes, surge tank , fuel line and CAI pod cover and have the flex tune , but somewhere closer to home :yes: :yes: :yes: :yes:

If they have fixed the problems and all is good, even near good is good enough, I do not want to go to Sydney anymore for work on my car, I will find someone closer for any smaller type jobs. I will never need another build, I am done with it and this car meets all my boyish needs, love the look, its history, goes quick in a straight line. great on the twisty shit and I love driving it , farking heaven

haha, I know what you mean. This thing was still fun when it would only go to 6000rpm , all good. I only know how I want it to feel, Dyno is a window to see how it gets to the 7500rpm They said there was no noticeable gains on the dyno with the bigger dump and cat, but maybe the response has picked a little up with the extra size and not noticeable on the Dyno ?
