    I always said they would fix any of the problems, shit happens and after you have waited for a build to be finished and run into a few probs when you get it back it gets you frustrated, living so far away just adds to the frustration It will be interesting to see what difference the 3.5" dump and cat make when it is being tuned ?

    Not having it done yet, I am still trying to work out what I will do with the car after I get it back and see how it is going

    No mate, I am running a new Haltech Platinum Pro 34GTR and the limiter is set at 8500rpm. I think it has a limit of 4 or 5000rpm until the motor is running at a normal driving temp around 70 degrees. I never drove the car hard until it was hot. Got me stuffed, ran to 8000rpm + on the Dyno when being tuned and when I just took it into Sydney on Monday But it will be fixed soon and I will be a happy camper

    Hi James, not sure mate, but I would think he will do it ASAP, might get rid of a bit of back pressure and and flow better ? Depends on the DBs if I will look at a quieter muffler that still flows but I will wait and see how it sounds and go from there as this exhaust was pretty quiet, well quieter before the build

    Things are looking up, my builder called me and we were talking about the car and he has put in a starter motor for free and going to run a 3.5" Dump and Cat for me "no Charge" so it will be 3.5" all the way. That was a great offer Just a matter of finding out where the water is going , a re tune and off we go

    NO, I free revved it and sitting on 5500rpm it started farting. They have to work it out, all they have to do is drive it , they will fix it, no problem I just wonder if they tweaked it yesterday on the dyno, it never went over 7000rpm without sounding like you hit the limiter but it is set at 8500rpm

    I never had the fuel under 1/3rd , they told me not to go below 1/4 until I get a surge tank if I am going to push t a little, Had a 9Lt custom sump. No Vids

    hahaha, well it has that and more, this thing sticks to the road like shat to a blanket , the driveline mods and the AD08Rs are great

    I hate being suspicious but , 2 minds think alike, maybe tweaked before or a hose off/loose, then they got me to have a look , I have no idea?? But as long as they fix it I do not care They only ever seem to run one type of Dyno readouts.

    You cannot drive it like that in a 60 zone. They will have to do it , I am sure they have somewhere to take it for this type of thing, I am sure they do not want to give it back before it is OK? Be interesting to find out where the water is going

    Dropped the car off yesterday. I was upstairs waiting for a lift to the station and unknown to me they had taken the car and put it on the Dyno and did a few runs , after a while I was taken down to watch and the car went to 8000rpm in 5th ??????? I could not even free rev it to 5500rpm and hold it there without it farting and blowing black, farked if I know ? Anyway , cannot wait to have it sorted

    That is a great outcome, that was always my major concern doing mods and most companies giving stupid low evaluations and stupidly high premiums ? I also took Terry's advice and very happy with the outcome, might have to increase the agreed value next year as the mods just didn't stop

    Before I bought my car it was being work by them, but not for a street car, laggy as fark. It was an impulse buy and turned into a financial nightmare because I am a stubborn SOB, haha But I really got to like the car and here I am, still going at it

    So if an Auto is not counted , what about the sequential box ? Even my heap cannot be called a real Skyline, different motor,turbo,ECU,radiator,clutch, Tranny, front and back diffs and a lot more ???? So if it is not counted with an Auto box, when is a skyline, not a skyline ?

    Their other tunes were fine. I think this is getting worse because it is running rich, the plugs would be like they are covered in black velvet and I do not feel like having a new set of plugs put in, just did that, already put 3 sets in, well I didn't , my mechanic did +$

    That hurts Mark They do some really good builds and the blokes there know what they are doing. Maybe my type of build is not what they specialize in as they seem to get into the drag/speed cars. Anyway, hopefully after I drop it off on Monday I will get it back firing on all 6 in a week It really does not like starting in the cold weather
