  3. Thanks, I will fire up my PC later and have a proper look at both posts, this laptop is crap Has the car still got the limiter ,180kph set up or over ridden. I had this on the 350GT and as a DD had no trouble with it

Sounds good Mark, well if I could hear it Just some quotes regarding my fuel situation , if I am going to try and get it all working properly I decided I would rather have over kill than run it on the edge. Been thinking of getting an Aftermarket Industry surge tank with twin walbro 460lph pump mounted in the surge. It seems the single walbro 460lph pump should flow around 450kw by itself. The issue is the plastic fitting in the fuel hat.(fuel gets pumped from the pump up through the fuel hat to the outside of the fuel tank via the "hat" then through the stock fuel lines to the engine bay. On the R34 this hat is a bottle neck as the inside diameter of the fitting is around 3.5mm. Just need to spend some more money
  5. haha, that hurts Probably more $s spent Well for the same year model, BUT mechanically mine is virtually new from the radiator to the tail pipe. I would not swap mine for a 400HP 1999 360 Ferrari Also nowhere to put the kids

  9. Does anyone have a 4" system that is legal ?? Does anyone have a 3.5" that is legal ?? If so, what is it ?

You run 4" all the way , dump to tip, what Cat and Muffler do you have, I have no idea what mine is, I asked for a quiet one and they had a mob custom a 3.5" stainless one for me , but did shit all with the dump and cat ? Have you had yours tested for the DB level ? I still think a quietish exhaust can still sound OK but I still love a good GROWL What did you have on before the 4" ?

  12. Yeah figured that I have a feeling the bloke that had my car gutted the Cat and I am hoping the new one might quieten it down a bit ? Maybe I will go with the 3.5" and all the way through and see how that goes ? First I will wait until I get the car back from the repairs
  13. From what I could find out , if you "can" change the DB of your muffler with a flick of a switch or whatever and it goes over the legal 90DB , it is illegal . I think I have a good exhaust system as it was so much quieter when I had it installed, not sure how the 4" or 3.5" dump and the new 5" Venom Cat will all work in together, so I will wait to put a DB tester on and if possible an emission test before I have an engineer look at it.. Maybe I might have to change the muffler but I will wait before I start dumping parts and replacing them. When I insured my car I included the modifications

Soon find out Luke, trying to use the best components to keep it quiet and emissions correct and then I am going to have the car engineered when it is all finished, maybe throwing more $ away, but it will let me know what I have to look at changing. Going to put a CAI pod cover, quality Cat and whatever else is recommended to get it right If the performance suffers, so be it

I was never after massive HP. BUT if I wanted to, when I finish what I am doing I could work the head, different cams, a mad turbo , and an E85 tune = bigger HP top end and stuff my car up for me =
  16. When the car goes back all of these possible causes will be checked out. It is something else to look into, does it ever stop
  17. Builder said my Haltech Platinum Pro ECU is happily running over 9000rpm with the standard ignition system. There could be a problem with the cam sensor, it could be faulty ?

  19. Not on the build sheet or the earlier build before I bought the car, just the ATI balancer and damper ?? Do they make that much difference or more a safety precaution for the motor ?

  21. What previous set up are you referring to , 1 when I bought it, 2. when I changed the cams, turbo and exhaust 3 the 3.2 and this one is not finished yet and when it is I expect it to be what I wanted to begin with, fingers X Here are the 3 dynos
